My hubby David told our eldest grandchild when he was small, that inland seaguls were called pondguls. Your brassica cage is wonderful, those veg in there are show stoppers. I put chard in last year and kept it covered in the warmer weather (due to leaf miner), in winter I took the cover off and they went all through the winter and went mad in spring, nice harvest for many weeks. I'm waiting for the seed now, but I'm planting more in the next few weeks for over wintering, I already have a sprout and some purple sprouting, they'll go in when they are much bigger.
Copied what you did with the overwintering onions and Lidls best garlic last autumn. The onions now are brilliant, not sure the garlic is so good but not lifted them yet but hopeful. I must owe you a pint or two. Thank you for posting.
