Summer Tanager Call ~ Female Summer Tanager Demonstrates Her Call While Taking a Bath 

The Summer Tanager's basic call sounds something like a three-part, descending "pit-ti-tuck". In this video, a female Summer Tanager nicely demonstrates her call for us while taking a bath in my backyard bird pond. I'm fortunate to have both Summer and Scarlet Tanagers spend the summer with me. Both types of tanagers really enjoy the bird pond.
