You guys have encouraged me and I’m going to look for you on Other social media. I’d really like to have your moral support as My man and I begin our journey!
Hi:)! I have as well, we should chat. I’m wanting to plan a trip, wouldn’t it be cool if we could get a group together for Q n A and also the positive energy we could give each other as we follow our hearts!
Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm so sorry about your trip but I've heard that Nigeria is currently discussing reopening international flights again soon so let us pray that happens soon. There's so many beautiful couples out there struggling thru this mess during Corona...but fear not, God is on your side and love always finds a way. Best of luck in your journey and congratulations on your engagement. Nigeria is such an amazing country to visit. The people are so welcoming and kind. You're going to just love it! 🇺🇸❤️🇳🇬
@@NaijaWife4Life they are finally open... I leave Nov 12...i just pray the borders stay open and I don't get stuck there... Trump's ban hit 3wks before my fiance K1 visa interview... So we closed the K1 case and will now be filing the spousal visa. Did you get your flight rẹ-booked yet?
What tribe is he from? I'm learning Yoruba.. Igbó is harder.. Pidgin is easier. You 2 really got lucky making it before the ban.. Covid cost us 9mo apart! ENJOY!
Congratulations to you!! just got my application approval a week ago so now we’re on to 2 step. Hopefully my hubby will be here by Thanksgiving or Christmas at the latest. Thank goodness they’ve opened up travel to and from Nigeria. Also how did you like Lagos? I loved it! Especially Victoria Island.. beautiful!!
Lekki and the island are beautiful... My husband and I are building in Lekki. But due to COVID and the travel ban we have been forced to go thru Canada to wait until the ban has been lifted. I'll be back in Lagos in 3wks...the hardest part is the wait
I just watched your entire channel and it really helped me in understanding the process more so thank you 🙏🏼 I met my boyfriend online in March 2020 and that was when corona struck lol so we have just been spending time getting to know each other since then but we both know we are each other’s person in this life and that we will get married one day and spend our lives together. I am in Canada and he is a Nigerian citizen living in Kenya on a work visa. If you and your husband have any advice I would appreciate it so much. Both of you are like my guardian angels lol. And now I am more prepared for the process and I thank you so much for all of your videos ❤️ it definitely proves how much it will be worth it in the end. 🇨🇦🇳🇬 god bless
I met my fiance in March 2018..he is Nigerian, Yoruba. He was living in Dubai at the time we met on IG... 3mo after meeting him online I flew to Dubai where we were engaged... In Feb we both flew to Lagos so I could meet his family. We were in the process of our K1 visa when Trump's ban hit and we were 3wks away from his interview.. We felt so defeated.. So he filled for entry into Canada with plans of my relocating up there while we wait out the ban.. Then COVID hit and immigration as well as borders shut down.. Again, defeated. I leave for Nigeria in 3wks for our wedding and nothing is stopping that I pray... The waiting is the hardest part, but the best thing about it is that it truly gives you the chance to get to know one another.. Im sending you both good vibes and pray that things can soon come together for you
@@henessy.-.45 I can definitely relate to feeling defeated. But everything happens for a reason and we are all so blessed so have found our person ☺️ I wish you all the blessings for you and your fiancé and congrats on your upcoming wedding! ❤️
Hi ! Been following your guys story I'm from Cali been living here in OYO state with my husband for last year ..we were waiting on our interview when now embassy is closed an Airport..my question is if there was anything you could of done here in Nigeria to prepare your husband for going home what would it have been the most??? Much luv
Thank you guys for following our story. Wow, we are so proud of you for living la vida en naija! That's just awesome. I can't wait to finish our home in Nigeria and begin spending more time there with my family. So we discussed your question and we think that before your immigration is approved and your husband prepares to come here, the most important think he can do to prepare is to focus on the interview and the possible questions that they can ask. visajourney.com is a great website for interview navigation and they do have a list of possible interview questions. We really focused on that in the coming months before his arrival. My husbands biggest challenges upon arrival have been food and the climate change and there's really nothing we could have done to prepare for that. He'll just have to dive in head first....lol. Best of luck to you both. Congratulations on your marriage! #naijawife4life
@@NaijaWife4Life we were all set for our K1 visa but we missed the ban by 3wks...so we are now clearly switching to spousal visa... Our lawyer explained the cost difference in that the spousal is much more expensive, if you don't mind my asking, do you remember what the amount came to? With this ban in place is your husband able to even apply for his green card?
Thank you for watching our RU-vid channel and your kind words. Feel free to join our group page. There's lots of great discussions and information about travel and immigration. facebook.com/groups/2748093882116669/
@@siviyondavis4705 Applicants are charged a visa fee of $160 for single-entry visa or multiple-entry visa. Payments are made by money order (made payable to the Embassy of Nigeria) or via the Nigeria Immigration Service webpage. Applicants must also pay an additional $30 processing fee.
@@siviyondavis4705 awww glad you got your visa. I love watching Mrs and Mrs Nwankwo too and I’m happy for their successful marriage. I hope someday I will find a lovely woman too. Anytime you’re visiting Nigeria make sure the person you want to meet is already waiting for you at the airport because those airport workers always misbehave sometimes lol. Remember as we have genuine Nigerians we also have bad ones too lol. 🫶🏾🫶🏾 I got my visiting visa to USA in 2017. When I arrived LAX airport in March 9 2017 the CBP officer that interviewed me later revoked my visa I asked why he said no tangible reasons for him to revoked the visa( I think it’s because of trump BAN ) when I got back to Nigeria I tried to reapply but they said I have to wait for the old revoked visa to expire. The visa expired in 2019. I relocate to dubai in 2020 and I already have my permanent residence ID in dubai and also owns a partnership project management company here in Dubai. So I’m planning on applying for another USA 🇺🇸 visa from Dubai, I hope and I pray I got approved.
