I love this series! It's so fun to see the day-to-day of a family/fellow knitter on the other side of the world and how your garden looks and how you structure your day, managing kids and knitting time and everything else too! I even love the mini bits of therapy talk and you being a little cranky with your husband about the car. It's reassuring and calming and your giggle is so wonderful! Thanks for sharing your garden and your trips and life in general!

I always find the week before I go on holiday really stressful and anxiety inducing, we’ve just been away and the week before was not great, had to work 3 days, husband was away, kids off school. I also struggle with adding in something to my day when I’ve had it planned out in my head. Sends me into a spiral 😫
Hola! Thanks for another video Laura! I can relate to the tension between what I must do and what I want to do! Right now I just wanna finish my summer knits and start with autumn but you reminded me of a post that came through my feed recently ¨Rest is not something you need to earn¨. And I was like oh wow, I do this all the time. In regards to wanting to knit something new and finishing things, I get that since you're a designer your approach is different. I confess that sometimes I cast on things that excite me and I tell myself I am just leaving them ready so when I finish my current wips I can go back to the new ones. So technically I don´t have 4 wips, I just have 2 wips and 2 ideas I had ¨set up¨ 🤭
You should pick those tomatoes asap!! It's best to pick them as soon as they start to show that red blush (even if they're still mostly green). At that point, the fruit has everything it needs from the vine to fully ripen, but if it stays on the vine, it risks getting damaged (pests, splitting skin, etc). I put the picked tomatoes on a sunny windowsill in my kitchen and they ripen to a deep red within 2-4 days. Enjoy!
