Some random clips of crowd and cars getting a little bit rowdy. Sorry its not the best footage but i was not able to get close enough to the action and i was always too late too start recording
At least that one "crowd safety" guy hitting on the drunk girl wasn't going around punching people like a lot of the others did. The "security" was worse than the crowd on a lot of other videos.
@@Dudesunperfect from what i'm reading in the media and other places. these so called "security" were not licensed security, so there's a chance, heads are going to roll for this one, it's really frustrating to see such an iconic event like this, being ruined by drunken hooligans,
If that was a bloke he would have been shoved back over the fence in half a second. But nah , security had to be a pathetic simp. Too many simps these days everywhere!!
It's funny you say that. Other people are saying they have been going for years and the last couple are the worst they had ever seen. They're probably exaggerating maybe?
@TheCluelessEnthusiast I just think now everyone has a camera in their hot little hands that it's just broadcast more these days. I was sixteen and seventeen when me and my mate went, we got the v line train into Melbourne from where we live, then another v line train from Melbourne to Albury and then the bus from there to Canberra stopping at the little towns on the way. Was a blast, the front ticket box was deserted when we got there Thursday night, now I was quite a smaller kid, waltz up to the ticket guy and go two adult tickets please, the guy didn't even bat an eyelid and said yep this much, think it was about $150 for non powered 4 day pass each and he gives me the 18+ wrist bands for me and my mate, so under-age drinking at the nats. Was a great weekend till the last night when about 7 security drag me and my mate out of our tents treating us like crap over someone who had jumped on someone's tent. After that me and my mate said we weren't going back. The so called security have to control some idiots I understand, but they are taught to move in safety in numbers and in that the mob/pack mentality comes out and then the punching comes out, and honestly in my opinion, until someone actually dies from one of these one punch wonders the nats will keep running as it brings in 35 million to Canberra.
@@aussie5.063 i was never at the old nats, but i definitely believe you. When people are trying to say that it's worse now i think they are exaggerating to try and make their opinion appear to be more valid. I also agree about what your saying with the money it generates for the city. The premier or council (or whoever makes the decisions) would be silly to can the event because they would lose a sh!tload of money
No its not mate. Nothing from this video. There were a few fights between security and patrons. Theres a few videos of security hitting patrons and patrons trying to hit security and its those fights that are causing the problem. If it wasn't for the fights there wouldn't even be an investigation
@@Dougiedoeschloehard you reckon? The line to buy a summernats t-shirt was bloody 50 metres long from the morning. I couldn't be stuffed waiting in line for that long
So many people take there own alcohol in you can't stop it, hard solo in normal solo bottle's, vodka in Powerade fill up Coles and Woolworths bag's full of them. I watched them walk straight in holding and drinking them security didn't even notice
