Right when the camera pans towards Randy Orton's busted head, you start to see people showing concern by getting up from their seats and covering their mouths in disbelief. I thought this wasn't a worked shoot. I bought into this.
TKO is more of a boxing/mma or really any "real" combat sports (this was the only time I heard it in pro wrestling) term meaning technical knock out. It is basically the ref saying a competitor is to the point where they cannot defend themself
@@noonecares514 it was scripted, but Orton got a concussion(which was not supposed to happen) and was rewarded with winning the 2017 royal rumble and the wwe championship.
@@noonecares514 go look it up it was scripted, Brock was supposed to make Orton bleed and when they got to the back Chris Jericho thought Brock lesnar actually tried to hurt or kill orton and they almost got into a real fight then randy or Vince had to come in and say, “hey what do you think you’re doing it’s part of the script!”
It was planned and agreed upon by both parties. Orton agreed to take it as you aren’t allowed to force blood anymore. So they had to do it naturally. However most guys backstage didn’t know it was planned and thought Lesnar went off. Chris Jericho actually almost fist fought him backstage because of it. It’s a great story
@@tylerg2825 Orton was kinda pissed off by the result of it though because he got concussed and was out for weeks. Hopefully something like this doesn’t happen again.

@@ericsupermagnificent it was already building up to their showdown at survivor series . The word was already out there (though nothing official) almost prior to a month leading to this summerslam and most of the fans were expecting something would start that feud here during this match.
