Happy June! Join me in my backyard as I flip through and comment on a 20 year old Barbie magazine. Lots of wonderful background ambience - birds, wind chimes, water fountain. FYI, this isn't ASMR - I chat (not a whisper) in my usual chatty chattiness. (BTW, I have 3 more of these magazines, so if you like this type of video, let me know and I'll show the others)

Bring back Barbie Bazaar! This was so much fun. Back in the day, I always remember the ads for Marl B Barbie. She always had the best ads and best dolls. I got to meet her - Marl Davidson - at that Barbie event I told you about in a previous comment. She still sells Barbies. She tried on my pink glasses and we had our picture made together. I purchased a tiny, silver Barbie, like an Oscar, from her. It was a transcendent experience. 😮 Also, Mary Ann Roy! She wasn’t there but had built some furniture in the silent auction for the fund raiser. Oh my gosh, Kada! I wish you could have been there! Take care! Can’t wait for your next video!

Oh my goodness, what an amazing experience you had! I need to keep my eyes & ears peeled for events like this! I've only been to my local toy show, and that was super fun, but definitely small time, and Barbies were only a wee part of it

It is an annual event in North Carolina hosted by Bradley Justice Yarbrough. You can search for and see him on RU-vid. People come from all over the country. I wish you had been there. 🩷

I loved Barbie Bazaar. I think I'm missing a couple of issues. Alas, they are no more😢. They became Haute Doll. There are no more doll magazines for me. Before I got a subscription I would hunt down an issue. Love your backyard. Looks like a great place to relax

I didn’t realize there were Barbie magazines until I saw these. Love them! I kinda like that they’re 20 years old, although it just makes me yearn for everything in it 😍

I would wait so impatiently for each issue to arrive and devour it immediately! A pack of the magazine dealers would have small ads where you wrote to them for their sales list which was often hand typed. You? Would send them a self-addressed and stamped envelope.And they would send you the list which you poured over.Looking fer dolls and outfits. Then eBay came and the whole collecting game changed for good! Fun times. 😊
