Thanks, one of the most informative and to-the-point reviews I've seen. This was exactly the info I needed. I almost never subscribe to channels, but yours is well with it!
Thank you very much. I know I'm not really "professional" and definitely have very little video experience, but I just try to make videos similar to what I like to watch. Just honest real life.
I think you just sold me a mini-viper. I'm 5'11 185 pounds. I haven't laid eyes on one of these stands before but light weight is the key for me on public land. I was sold into the whole Saddle idea but it ended up coming to about 18 pounds, $1000+ and a lot of headache!
Hey man how's it going? Hey I was wondering how do you get rid of the loud noise from the seat when your sitting down on it? Or have ya already stopped the noise?
I'm debating ordering this stand. I have the regular viper but thinking if shedding some weight with sacrificing comfort. I'm basically the same size as you. How comfortable had it been for all day sits?
It sits exactly the same as my viper. The shorter front end just offers you better bow clearance and a place for your elbow as a gun rest. The width is the same. I like it better than my viper and am replacing all my stands with them.
@@thecedarridgechronicles thank you for the reply. I'm thinking this will benefit me. I'm gonna order this stand, and take my footrest off my current viper. I've been having back pain so any shaved weight will help!
Great info bud let me ask you a question when I get sick all day and I get tired a lot of times I turn my seat around so I can face the tree I got an API I've been using for years is it enough room to put change your seat around and face the tree the way it looks now I love to have something like that cuz I use a recurve sometimes and I use my compound too so that would help me out with my reefer
I don't think so. The problem would be that they moved the armrests back a few inches when they shortened the stand and I don't think it would allow enough room for the seat to slide back away from the tree. It is very comparable to an open shot with a front bar.
my son uses his mini viper facing the tree (5'8 145 lbs) . he folds the top of the seat down to make a cushion and uses the shooting rest as a back rest. He likes it. I have the viper SD and can hunt facing the tree, but you give up a little foot room at the tree. PS. I love the video and the channel
I’ve tried many stands through the years… summits are my favorite, I own 6 of them.👌💪🏼 I put third hand archery treestand straps on them to make the top and bottom become rock solid once you reach your desired height. His footrest works well with the summit also. You can stretch your legs out!👌
My hunting partner liked mine so much he bought him one and he is 6'1". It is different obviously and takes a little getting used to compared to a full size, but I would rather use it with a bow for clearance and with a rifle for a gun rest closer to you to brace your elbow on.
Hey man I watched your review you live on the Bankhead? I live in Hamilton Alabama on the Sam R Murphy wma I always wanted to hunt the black warrior wma!
