Love my Summit Viper SD. I got my feet wet with the steel version and after one season of carrying that on long hikes, decided that the aluminum weight savings was worth the cost difference. I’ve done lots of “mods” to it so it nests tighter and quieter. The one thing I can’t give up is the seat! I see a lot of guys convert to the net style seats for but all day hunts, I’m not ready to give it up 😂
I’m totally with you! That seat is way too comfortable to give up for that netting haha. I’m liking the mini viper for longer hikes. It’s smaller, but nice and lightweight. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
