What do you guys think about the state of NoPixel currently?

I love how Dan clearly states there is only 4 cops on duty, and inside Police station you see like 6 different officers...

“Cops can’t just shoot anyone who roams around” *Angel blasts summit while he’s holding hostages and she has police in her line of fire then proceeds to leave the scene...

Sum is literally the perfect person to bring this up. He's invested a lot of time into both cop and crim to note the differences.

Sounds like all the cop is saying is, "I deserve to win cause once I lost and it's my turn to win."

Imagine being a cop and going off duty just because you died as a cop and lost 5 minutes. These people wouldn't make it as crims at all, you lose money from fines, progression in car boosts, you lose time in jail, AND you lose equipment that is expensive to buy.

AHAHA he hit em with the “You don’t know what it’s like to be a crim”. This right here is why people who play crim and cop characters have a much more valid point then any other person in the server. Don’t get me wrong though, it’s tough to be a crim as well as a cop, but cops legit have the upper hand in every situation and I don’t understand why the devs need to even buff the PD anymore let alone give them more of an advantage.

Criminals have the element of surprise! ... *hears motorcycle through 16 feet of concrete and pulls out AR* ... that's not surprise, that's escalating for _absolutely any reason_ to nullify any possible disadvantage from being surprised. That's not situationally consistent roleplay it's meta win v loss decision making bleeding all over the Roleplay. The whole focus on action RP _advantages_ and _disadvantages_ over the past few months has come at the cost of making decisions for the sake of good Roleplay first. It's win/loss gamification not enabling the potential for varied and hopefully more interesting story telling.

Summit goes off in this. The Sheriff needs to make sure people have rules to go by to keep the balance. Which means make sure the cops have more duties with keeping the RP alive. The cops really do dictate the RP

I understand where Summit is coming from. No cop shows up to a routine traffic stop with a carbine out UNLESS there is some kind of information in relation to the person in the vehicle. If you respond to every call paranoid as shit, then you shouldn’t be a cop. That’s literally how majority of these situations happen in the real world.

The logic is completely flawed from their perspective. They claim a lot of "What if's" to justify carrying class 2 weapons around an accident scene with 0 shots fired. "What if 4 guys roll up and start shooting." Okay what if a tank rolls up? What if an attack helicopter shows up? It's a slippery slope to be throwing out so many 'What Ifs' can't wait to see what happens when Lang's Rocket Launcher starts joining fights. Edit: Just heard the Minority Report reference. LOVE IT! Also can't help but notice there's A LOT more than 3 or 4 cops on at this time it would seem... "Lethal is lethal in every sense of the matter." Okay so why are you using LETHAL weapons to pop car tires?

The cops are OP and they hit the nail on the head saying crims have one advantage, surprise. But cops have the high ground in Numbers, Equipment, firepower, communication, game mechanics (ie downed can ping location and can come back to the fight etc), better vehicles (in general Multiple A+ CVPI and 3 S Interceptors, helli, boats), ability to bench crims (stacking jail time etc), Spikes and to some degree NVL. I get the police department should be more powerful but if you want the game to be fun they shouldn’t be overpowering. At the moment police treat policing like Hulk Smash, when shit hits the fan, throw more aggression, more guns, more people and shortcut RP to secure the W. They escalate more than they de-escalate and they have lost sight of A what policing really is and B good fun RP. Smart and interesting police work goes out the window in place of to someone degree power gaming. The crims are the underdogs and just like David and Goliath no one wants to see Goliath win all the time

wait, so they know for a fact ooc that 4 is max of a group, and summit is already in custody, so still only 3 people can join in. BUT the crims are hardlocked to 4, while the cops can go as many as they want. and the argument is "OHHH THERE MIGHT BE 10 PEOPLE COMING, ROOFS, CHOPPERS, AK'S UZI MAC 11, GOTTA BE READY". hilarious response from summit when he put a high doubt out on that he would swap to his pistol LOL.

Any engagement lately I've watched where there was good communication when a crim had a hostage and negotiated their demands to only get shot the second their vehicle starts moving makes watching rp hard for me at the moment to enjoy. Only rp is coming from the crim where the pd's rp is just shoot in all those situations. Whats the point of crims trying to rp out a situation and cops just gunning them down. There could have been a nice chase and multiple more opportunities for rp. I just don't get it anymore. I can see why the crims on the server is super annoyed every time they get arrested since you can only handle so much until you boil over.

"They *might* surprise attack us, so we have our rifles out." and "We're undermanned." are the two arguments Dan used. Sum is right because he doesn't know the crim's pov. Crims don't know you're undermanned, also, this applies to the crims. CG isn't always out 24/7, so cops don't know when crims are undermanned. Dan hides behind 'assumption' and 'better safe than sorry' to defend himself, the same problem Angel has imo. I like how they hide behind RP reasons when it's convenient, but are the first to abuse a game mechanic to win. (That shit when the cops landed on an inaccessible roof, and then literally sniped Randy with their 2 ARs, was the rattiest move i've ever seen).

Might as well cancel the rule of 4 and make a CG Militia Vinny with the AKs mass recruitment maybe the balance will get back when it's a 9v9 in a C Class Boost

The police break rules because they can't play by the rules and win , and that's the bottom line , the PD is full of crappy drivers that need stupid fast broken cars to stand a chance of catching anyone , and they still can't catch them , that tells you everything you need to know about the state of the server . They have to buff the cops so much because of there lack of ability to play the game . Cops breaking SOP'S everywhere with no punishment for breaking them , so its only going to continue . I just hope baas has some effect on this , because he seems to get why so many people are frustrated with what some cops are doing . I hope they fix it before everybody leaves . I mean , it's like they don't want crime on the server on a game that is based on crime, its called GRAND THEFT AUTO ! , for god sake 🙄

The ARs should be in the cars like in real life so that they have to get them out of the car before they can use

It's insane that they think that's fun as a cop, I would be baiting crims to attack by just holding a stick or something and trying to have a fun gunfight, there is nothing fun about roaming the city as a terminator that nothing can touch at any point... The cops SHOULD be at a disadvantage in certain situations to make for good RP, the thing that rubbed summit the wrong way is that an ambush in that scenario is 1 of those INSANELY RARE chances for the crims to get a leg up, and they took that away by going straight to class 2. So they are insanely OP for the chase due to air 1, comms, and the interceptors... and they are insanely OP once shooting has popped off due to class 2's and sheer number of cops... but for those few moments in between they also feel the need to be insanely OP just in case someone wants to have some fun crim RP. Too many big egos on this server, he should have apologized and admitted how dumb that was, but instead he thinks he was right. They need to just go back to randomly killing cops for no reason at all, because if there is a reason for any potential gunfights to happen they are stopping them before it happens.

at the end of the day i feel that the cops are forgetting that this is a game, where's the fun in losing back to back to back to back to back. Literally the equivalent of playing rust having a hazmat suit and a revolver trying kill a whole 8 man clan with a full metal ak kit, it is possible but it is extremely difficult.

3.0 has been a total disaster, the police force has been broken since the start of 3.0.. Even when SumSum was claiming the criminals were the ones OP, lol.

As someone who has done LEO RP for years, it blows my mind to see class 2's out at scenes like this, In departments I have ran and been part of the rule has always been to match force with force, meaning we always start with class 1 and elevate as needed, And on top of that, you had to have a certain rank AND complete a certification in order to have access to class 2 weapons. Which in my opinion is how it should be. Walking around with assault rifles in hand all the time EVEN AS AN LEO is powergaming in my opinion because like summit says it eliminates most of the possibility of someone being saved. Adding on to that, i would honestly RATHER the crims have an opportunity to get their boys back because it lengthens the scene and adds layers to the RP.

I dont know how he didn't understand this. Crims are 90% of the time are out numbered, so the only times the crims have a chance in a shootout (out numbered) its either a surprise attack or hold an angle. And even then that doesn't work all the time bcs of the cops numbers and ar's (which is 12 dollars for some reason) against the crims. So baiscally, cops don't need to always have ar's out bcs they have numbers, speed and comunication advantage Edit : also i like how they call some crims rats when they sit on top of buildings 50km away shooting lazers. And pit at 120mph+

The only time they're outnumbered is if the cops have 3 or less. Last time the crims won a full shoot out was red garage, randy being the deciding factor.

the element of surprise (or the advantage of the surprise) goes away in less then one minute from the first bullet shot. idk how that's the hill to die on for Dan here when sure the element of surprise can be huge but considering cops have 95% of the time the numbers advantage, are tanking more bullets, have the superior class 2 in all the city, more and more officers certified for interceptors which keeps up with everything and a helicopter in some situations that can call out the surprise and apparently hotdrop on unreachable spots now. all to say is the point is null after that first 30-60 seconds of the engagement where 4 guys have to kill 4-20 cops to be successful

What happened to the gun rack mechanic? i thought before they had to be at the back of cars to unrack ar's/shotguns guessing that was removed early 3.0?

There are 2 officers. 1 criminal: there is no jump a criminal can ever have, maybe 4 at most when it’s a heist, but this was a race man.

charles is completely right. they already have the advantage and then they want MORE of an advantage by always having class 2s out “for the chance of something happening” essentially. it just dosnt make any sense, and the cop saying that cops don’t really have the advantage over crims is actually stupid

Crims are SUPPOSED to have the jump. Police have better equipment, better comms, more people, everything. In GTA 5, you don't start with 5 stars when you shoot at a cop, you start with 1 star and then 2-3 when you kill a cop. Here they are given the best weapon in No Pixel to react to anyone with even a pistol which does almost no damage to cops.

He was right about Dan not being a crim or ever playing one to an extent, when Dan first got on he played a snitch to get his foot in the door and progressed Dan to pd eventually. Now most of his views are one-sided an he views it as pd are constantly overwhelmed and out numbered when if his fellow pd stuck around instead of getting into another chase he wouldn’t be outnumbered.

Thing is Dan may say "we don't always have the numbers" but in character he is suppose to RP it that they do. I mean he is part of a police force in a city of a million right? It's like cops get to pick and choose why they rp and when they don't and call it "SOP"

Sounds a lot like what FortyOne said a few months back about the cops not being able to go down and think as a single unit. Everyone has to be the hero and think single minded when PD is designed as a collective unit. You hear it when Dan only talks of his loses, not the PD losing.

There should be a good balance between real life common sense like having a rifle to fight pistols, and RP/video game rules like having a fair playing field. The cops kept trying to use irl logic to break the balance of Cops vs Crims in RP.

Because there happened to be two "masked up" individuals nearby that didn't actually show any real aggression they immediately escalated to class 2 because if they decided to engage they would have been out numbered 3:2 with one of the people out numbering them being confirmed to have been unarmed.. That’s like the whole point of escalating. Charles is right, they used to only use class 2 when someone pulls out a full auto. Now as you seen during summits time sitting in the fucking car, they just roam with ARs out already constantly thinking “Oh man I arrested someone and the whole cities after me! I need my laser beam sniper rifle!” You can’t rp in a state of constant paranoia and use that as justification. Its just dumb and an insanely slippery slope that could be abused

Dan doesn't understand they escelated a scene to AR's that had 0 threat to him and his officers because a motorbike drove buy them on a road. Also the Female Cop switched from Pistol to AR @3:06 before they identified the driver and the so called threat of a motorcylce was present. this means crims who may have wanted to try and save chawa either have to escelate to AR's or SMG's to match the PDS force. they shouldn't escelate every scene based on previous scenes. not every person in the city is a murderer and cop killer. it seems the Cops escelate the scene without realising they are escelating the scene. this is a realistic server in koils eyes so in real life if a cop IRL had a crazy start to a week with bank robberies and hostage situations that turned into a class 2 shoot out, does that mean he now can justify using a AR in every altercation they are in because its been a tuff week. i don't think so unless they crim has escelated the situation. Dan clearly took the conversation person in the sense that he is not thinking of the whole PD forces V Crims and only looking of himelf V crims. that is the problem as few cops tries to step back in this kind of conversation to see both sides without being biased and try to see what changes can be implicated. Also one thing that bugs me is Koil keeps saying it should be realistic that when you kill a cop the whole force is coming for you, which it should be as thats real life. but when he is asked about changing the 4 man rule he just says that what the devs want. well koil gatekeeping the 4 man rule is not real life and it will at somepoint be a detriment to the servers progression and enjoyment to the streamers/players and fans that have made NP what it is today. i am not trying to call out or attack any player/character/dev or streamer in this comment. i am simply expressing my view on the situation.

It was so hard to listen because Dan barely responds to half the questions with an actual answer, he brushes over that cops should Never escalate a situation, and im shocked that summit didnt talk about the new unspinnable A+ class CVPI's, its wild that Dan said nothing about the Zurg-ing, or acknowledged that the only reason the cops lost any kind of fight is because people got off, and about how he refused to make any statements on how it really has been swarms upon swarms of cops on the most basic crim shit, and how contrived and obvious that he knew he made a mistake when he pulled out the class twos but then refuses to admit that its because Summit's CG, only to then admit in the video "Well you guys have been getting the drop on us and-" and when Summit calls him out on that shit twice he blows off the question. I get wanting to be the best or to win the game, but thats not what RP is about, the Cops are force killing RP and its extremely obvious all across the city and they just cry about hell week.

Also during the PD meeting last monday/tuesday they said that they were allowed to have AR out this week because of "hell week", even tho hell week only lasted for like 3-4 days.

If you start with class 2 there is no escalation involved! It is the most escalated state to begin.

When you think about it, hell week doesn't really apply to them. They don't lose much time or money compared to crims, and seeing how hard they been going to get the win lately just adds more to the injury.

The PD doesn't think itself as a team. They're all separate individuals and highly selfish onto one another. That's why some of them act out violently.

I think it's funny that when Summit asks how many fights they've lost recently he can't answer that. All he says is that HE has gone down twice, but I guarantee that after he went down the zerg of cops that showed up ended up winning those fights regardless. Seems to me he's focused too much on his own perspective. He doesn't want to go down and be out of the action so just immediately be ready with Class 2 weapons to avoid that situation. Yet if that did happen exactly like Summit said the rest of the cops will show up with class 2 ready to go and win regardless of the first few cops getting dropped. This cop saying if he's cornered by 4 crims he's gonna whip out the rifle is exactly the problem. They're essentially saying the moment they feel they're about to die it's time to whip out the rifle no matter what which is not how it should be. 1 Crim going down is way worse than 1 cop going down, so why are they doing everything they can to avoid it. It's becoming more about 'winning' than it is about the RP. I've seen many situations in these videos where CG are ready to make moves and literally cannot do anything because every angle of approach is covered by police whether it's through cheese tactics or just sheer numbers. How is that fun for anybody from an RP pov?

Dans whole response is basically “I’m scared, so because I COULD be shot from anywhere I will ALWAYS have my best weapon out.” As long as the officer FEELS threatened the SOPs are out of the window. Just sad that justifications to be overpowered are because they “COULD” be ambushed. Not based on evidence like the person being on the phone, using a walkie talkie, someone trailing behind. No, cause Dan felt vulnerable. As a last thing how the fuck can you say “Because two people on a bike ride by” Locals and even nosy ass civilians come back regularly to see what’s happening. Not everyone in the city is there to save a guy getting arrested. Such weak fucking reasoning that can be dismantled so easily
