Something cool about Machine Dupe-like cards is that Dupe Frog and Ronintoadin are treated as "Des Frog" while on the field, so if you use Machine Duplication on them, you get 2 copies of Des Frog. When Rank 5 Xyz came out, Inferno Reckless Summon was used to make Volcasaurus (a walking Ring of Destruction).

Let's gooo! There are actually more targets you can get out with machine dupe by lowering the atk of your own monsters, as it's atk on the field rather than original atk. It adds another card to the full hand combo already, but it does enable further silliness.
that game you got blown out by mst you could have asked them "main okay?" and if let you go to main you set the proto dragon and then contact fuse without prio being pasted as you can summon fortress dragon with your own set monsters

Playing a version of this with royal magical library as the target has been very fun. Using Skyscraper+Captain Gold+Rota/E Call +Terra+ancient gear stuff+ upstatt as the spell card targets.

What about an actual Des frog deck? Mostly frogs and toads but with the Des croaking as a blowout if you can get it off. I like one of the other comments too that said dna surgery + machine duplication with dupe frog cause it becomes Des frog on the field. Also play the fusion for lols. This is cursed tech after all. King of the swamp, prisma. Could work

That's cool! Machine Duplication doesn't require an original ATK of 500 or less, right? So if you have a good way to reduce your own monster's ATK, you can summon two copies of most monsters^^ There are so many ways to reduce atk, and so many monsters...
Ultimate Baseball Kid? 7500 dmg on clear board and launching one UBK with another deals the last 500 (assuming no Gorz, Trag, or Fader obviously but that's the dream in cursed tech anyway). Also Limiter Removal bumps them to 5k which is always funny. A last tech is Instant Fusion for flame swordsman (or any fire type) to make the UBK's 3500 while giving more burn potential. That's what I built in YWC 2009 playing in a format right before Edison, but you could totally make it work in Edison.
I mean, it was good... If you did sorted out (somehow) the lacooda...but, you did it with machines, so, it's not *that* bad. I would give him a second chance to this deck. 3 duels are not enough.
I wish it was just three duels. These were only the USABLE duels. But a fair point. I wish the camel resolved, but I was getting frog the jam flashbacks and stopped myself. Maybe I should have dove deeper
If you find a way to search out darkworld shackles you can equip it to one of your monsters making it's atk 100, theoretically allowing you to pull any monster out of the deck
4:53 You could "probably" take this into a different direction by summoning higher attack monsters by lowering the targeted monsters attack. Example: Summon Gyroid, use Ring of Magnetism (or Shrink), use Machine Duplication, summon +2 Gyroids. I'm not sure if you could summon Cyber Dragon by Shrinking Proto-Cyber Dragon twice and then using Machine Duplication. Or maybe you could summon a monster with low defence, use Shield and Sword or Weapon Change, and then use Machine Duplication.
This is a cursed card that actually has won a small tournament! It was basically an ftk and it was in some hero pile. If I did look at it I would probably try to make some of the godawful fusions that never see play!
