I've posted never before heard music I wrote for Summoner back when I was working at volition with tech videos and more . Its up on my youtube page. Enjoy :)
The story on this game was so well fleshed out. Like a harry potter book. Everything had a backstory, nothing happened without explanation, and there were some pretty big "oh shit" moments. Only issue was the loading time and the GLITCHES. but most of those were removed when the game got ported to Steam. Definitely recommend anybody purchase and replay this old gem.
I know this is 2008 but I love this game. I just started playing. I have Joseph and Flece at level 10. Graphics arent as good as Champions(RTA..Great game btw!) But this one is still a classic and fun rpg!
I feel sad that I never got to beat this game. I rented it one weekend and got pretty far into it.... Was their like an easter egg in this game with... about some nerds playing D&D... "Im going to cast magic missile."
Never played it, but I do remember this trailer of this was on a Red Fraction game I owned on ps2 from many moons ago. Never knew what it was (until today, for some reason I remembered it) just remeber this trailer with that strange opening with the castle swordfight (always seemed strange to me(though I was 10 at the time).
HuskyShinobiChouji FF7 was an amazing game. Yes, at first I was disappointed with how they did the characters, but it truly was a special game for it's time. You can't compare games from today, to games like FF7 because you have to remember when FF7 came out a game of today didn't exist so it wasn't comparable. FF8, really was a great game. I just think that you can't take an old game and compare it a game of today, it just won't match. FF8 and FF7 really were great memories for me.
It's crazy cause I saw an article today that said this game is rereleasing on modern consoles, and apparently it was made by Volition way back before they made Saints Row, and then destroyed Saint's Row and closed :(
HuskyShinobiChouji they all have something cool about them, but after 8 I stopped. I just couldn't get into it. I should get back into them and see what's going on about them
Talking with Yago he tells him to find the rings of stone which is in an old ruin far off west where Lenel is. Forgot the ruins name but you end up fighting all the way to the ruin to fight this ancient summoner where he use to bear the mark also. then they all ended up killing him and was able to get one of the Rings of stone, Now there are four rings he needed to find which one is in Iona and the other is the Khasani what ever you call them after you get the rings and at night returned
So I u r goin to try da game then u should get the dread blade during the game. You first go to Iona and find a side quest called "tathal the wanderer" then after a long time into the game you will find a quest called @the emperors dragon scales" which u will find in the tower of eleh. Next when u r done with the tower then u should go to the world map and find tathal. The other 2 dragon scales are in the caverns and liangshan
to Lenel Ornians had already breached within the walls and one of the kings followers betrayed him and then slaying him. After thorugh all the fights through Lenel to get to Yago you meet him alone with Flece he tells Joseph to put the ring in the fire where this place is hidden in the Temple of Urath. THinking this would destroyed the rings it ended up freeing the demons and Joseph ended up loosing his hand
one of the summons which Yago had already given you a ring of darkness as described at the beginning was summon out when he was young was in Yago the whole time being possessed. Now when Joseph is now weak he has no longer the mark is is thrown in prison in the emperors dungeon which is another continent across from the land where lenel was from. Now Flece who had betrayed Joseph had to get him back and not knowing what Yago was he try saves Joseph with her sneaking abilities or rushin in
attacks if preferred to do so, annnnnd Ill end it there because the story is long and I dont want you to spoil the ending because you should play this game is really great. =) The game has a long ways to from this point.
Well thats my opinion about the game, I just said it was a great game, through what my whole meaning meant. It maybe pretty old graphics but its a good story.
@bottlecapbill19 Oh, you mean Summoner Geeks. Search it up here on RU-vid. It happens if you press X in the credits normally, and it's very funny. Or at least, very funny for a thirteen-year-old girl, but, hey!
The PC version was better. Better graphics and bug fixes FTW!! The music was great too. (Which was a free download when the game was new. Might be able to still find them..)
Nope, I thought it was a crappy game when I first look at the cover but it turned out to be interesting. If this does not serve your interest move on. It is a cheap way out and it is pretty cheap game to get, but I am saying its worth it.
Hahahaha, you would have to get the game otherwise it will ruin it. Its about a farm boy but has the mark and the oranians are after him due to a prophcy to kill the emperor that is why they are after him, but Joseph never figures out why they are after him so he travels to Lenel a city to find his lost apprentice Yago which he is the advisors for the King so he sneaks inside the sewers and with all the battles and stuff sneaks past the gaurds ( this is Flece doing and meets Yago w
Horrid game in my opinion... I've seen some of it at a friends, why do people like it? press attack, watch them fight, move on, press attack, etc. plus, the text... oh my god, the fucking text ;_;
