You must be wondering why he wear a mask because he might aware that if he went into stick city, many stick figure will recognize him that he's the dangerous stickman along with The Chosen One. And the mask is stolen one at the shop when the shopkeeper is sleeping and which make TDL accidentally corrupted the mask so I guess there's no problems for him to wore it since he's the one who cause this.
