Hello Jerry, It was a pleasure meeting you at Leisure Acres RV park in GA. You recommended these Super Springs for our RV. Your video is very impressive on their performance!! I will be installing a set on our 5th wheel soon. Thank you!

Thanks Jerry! These Sumos are exactly what I think I need. The jerking on my 32ft TT from bumps and swaying are a very challenging issue for us. We installed air bags on the Truck, but that only solved part of the problem. I think these will do the trick. I ordered through your affiliate link and left comment I learned from your channel.They are Back ordered. Thanks again. I'll leave a comment after I install and have some time on them. Thank you for the vast informative information you provide. Hope to meet you some day out there.

Great video Jerry. I installed Sumo Springs on my 21 F350 dually and they work great. What’s nice about having the on your truck is the fact that they don’t apply pressure when you’re light and make the ride harsher. When you’re heavy, they really go to work. In cornering, they prevent body role.

Enjoy your channel which is very helpful. Was wondering if the yellow sumo springs would be good to add to the rear suspicion of the tow vehicle ?
@iLoveRVlife
@iLoveRVlife Год назад
Thanks. The SumoSprings are weight dependent. Assuming the yellows are the recommendation from the websites vehicle match. They are a good alternative to air bags making a softer transition vs smacking the axle bump stops. Also helps take the sag out when a trailer or 5th wheel is connected.

@iLoveRVlife
@iLoveRVlife Год назад
Hi Dan. The SumoSprings are working great. Removed a considerable amount of shock from the inside of the 5th wheel. Plus minimizes the up and down movement felt at the pin. The SumoCoils on the F350 helped. This is still a ton truck with heavy duty springs, but the coils along with the Bilstein 4600 improved the ride.

Great video. I was in the middle of installing a set on my 2010 Eagle 321RLTS 5th wheel, when I found your video. As it turns out I also have Dexter Axles. However, the Top plate width is 5.75 in. and the max for the Sumo Springs is 4.5 in. After chatting online with a Sumo rep, they say that they do not have a kit for my Axles. Really bummed, and not sure where to look now.
@iLoveRVlife
@iLoveRVlife 2 года назад
That’s odd. Even with the supplied spacers they wouldn’t fit? I think whoever you spoke to is misinformed. Per SumoSprings website www.superspringsinternational.com/trailer-sumosprings/ the springs will fit the gap between the top of spring plate and bottom of the frame must be between 5.3" and 6.55". Or is the the top plate where the springs attach to the Axle?
@ericjohnson6437
@ericjohnson6437 2 года назад
@@iLoveRVlife the top plate of the springs. so I did get the longer bolts, and butted the end brackets together, instead of overlapping them. Hoping that the strength of the bolts and the pressure of the Sumospring will keep it in place.

Jerry I know this video is old but I’m think about doing this and wonder if you still like them. I’ve seen a few reviews that show they may have caused a frame to bend right where they hit it.
@iLoveRVlife
@iLoveRVlife 6 месяцев назад
We’ve been running for 2 years. I’ve had zero frame issues using. No frame bending or flex. Only thing I can suggest concerning those reports are incorrect installations or the frames are so cheaply made they would bend overtime from poor road conditions without the Sumos. From our experience, I’ll not own a camper without SumoSprings. One other point. We have no affiliation with SumoSprings and receive no payments. I contacted them after watching their torture track video and they provided the set for us to try. I offered to purchase, stating I would not show if they didn’t work. But the video speaks for the product. They make a big difference.

@iLoveRVlife 2 года назад
Hi John. I suspect your axles are in the GAWR: 3,000 - 5,000 (lb) range. There should be a sticker on the side of your RV to verify or the axles should be marked. The blue or TS 107-40 springs fit this range. Super Springs website has a chat function to ask questions if you want to verify. We just drove 400 Interstate miles on a route we have previously traveled. It made a difference for us.

@iLoveRVlife
@iLoveRVlife 2 года назад
The Road Armor worked well to shift the road bumps between axles, but there was still that large upward shock of bridges and pot holes. The Road Armor didn’t do much when we ran on those uneven concrete Interstates. The SumoSprings don’t remove all the movement, but there was a substantial difference. Something else. We didn’t realize how much movement translated to the 5th wheel pin into the bed of the truck. Much improved ride. A nice surprise on our first trip.

@iLoveRVlife
@iLoveRVlife 2 года назад
Hi Terry. If the slipper springs and shocks aren’t helping, I’d give the SumoSprings a try. Without the other items you mentioned, the SumoSprings made a big difference for us. We also have airbags on the F350. Most roads we run around 45 to 50lbs. If the roads getting really bad, I’ll add an additional 10lbs. We have an on board air compressor and I can control from the dash making the increase or decrease in pressure while we drive. If I didn’t have the air bags, I’s consider the SumoSprings. They make a set to replace the stops in the front end. Strongly considering adding to help manage those uneven bridge shears. I’ll let everyone know if we decide to add.
