Sun and Moon & Last Night of the World Simon Bowman and Lea Salonga, the original Chris and Kim in the 1989 London West End Production of "Miss Saigon" Lea Salonga 40th anniversary concert 2018.10.20 #LS40
Imagine ung kilig mo if sa play ka talaga nila nanonood and when they were in their younger years with power belting wew... kilig saka in awe.. dito nga they still can take our breath away panu pa nung kabataan nila just wow 🥰😘
I love the way he sings “I’m from a WORLD THAT’S so different....” those two words sound so gentle. Just as good as when he sang it many years ago...sigh
My sister too got cassette tapes and over and over we listen to it… but I’m sure it’s gone now (washed away by multiple floods in the province) if the lives my sister and I have now is as of way back then, we could have gone to London or Broadway to watch it…
I have so much respect for Simon Bowman for his professionalism towards Lea Salonga…She was barely 18 when they started in Miss Saigon together. He was 28. And she said it herself that he was just very patient and helpful with her. Many years later and that story never changed!
I watched this 10 times a day. I wish I could see their performance live.from now on I will save money in preparation for their upcoming concert hopefully it will happen in the Philippines. So covid go away.... Love lea n Simon. Till life after death....
It's 2021 and I'm 34 yrs old. Crying and smiling at the same time while watching this video. Closing your eyes and listening to them singing brings you back to the time when they were onstage. So nostalgic and endearing.. Can we have this again?
SO MUCH PASSION IN THEIR VOICES AND IN THEIR SPIRITS AND HEARTS TOWARDS EACH OTHER. THEY SHARED A VERY SPECIAL AND RARE RELATIONSHIP...SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL AND BREATHTAKING!~~BEV~~
I could not count anymore how many times I watched Lea Salonga and Chris Bowman duet especially '"The Last Night of the World". What a PERFECT BLEND OF BEAUTIFUL VOICES. I AM SO IN 😍 LOVE OF THEIR TEAMWORK
It is shattering to see how our bodies age, yet encouraging that our voice remains the same and that the singing even improves over time. Lea and Simon: saw you on Broadway in 1998 and you remain my favorite musical couple!
Yng manonood ka na kinilig pati dulo ng daliri mo sa paa dahil sa sobrang kilig hahaha😅omg kinikilig ako dito lalo na yng performanced nila noon sana all😍❤
Bakit ako naiyak? Aaah kasi walang nagbago, yung boses and chemistry nandyan pa rin. Grabe nakakakilig at tindig balahibo. Ang charming n9 Mr. Bowman. Grabe yung professionalism na sa isa't isa. Kung ako sguro nahuhulog n ako kay Mr. Bowman dahil sa boses pa lang grabe na, tapos ang gwapo pa.
How awesome. So much respect n love to both. I watched the play in Broadway, NY way back in one of my visits during their initial shows. Lea is still so beautiful, Simon as handsome as he used to. Bagay sila, sayang hindi nagka-in-love-an….or who knows?
I’m suddenly transported back down memory lane hearing these 2 songs that has been a huge part of my teenage years, I share the same age as Lea and when she got picked as Miss Saigon was truly epic in that era. She was an inspiration for my life’s journey
I wonder if there was a time they started to have a feelings for each other but kept it to themselves to respect each other, especially that one of them was in a relationship and Leah was very young
