Idk why it's defaulting to 480p, so change it to 1080 :)

If using bleach make sure to use hydrogen peroxide to neutralize the bleach I bleach my hoodies in 1/3 water 2/3 bleach and let them sit in the moisture for an hour then set it soak in hydrogen peroxide 1cup per gallon and I’ll let it sit there for another hour then let it sit outside and let the weather do it’s thing and it does a great job and softens the clothing too, also if you are looking to dye the clothing! You should buy soda ash and mix 2 cups of soda ash per gallon and after you’ve soaked your garment in hydrogen peroxide leave it in the soda ash water for 30 min it raises the ph in the clothing so dye adheres to it and the color stays vibrant!!! Happy experimenting guys these measurements are all subjective play with it to mess around with what you want!!!

I had an authentically worn black baseball cap with authentic tears and motor oil on it. it turned brown after years of wear. I lost it on a boat down in FL and I was so upset. just trying to replace what was lost. bought another one and the difference was astounding. I've been leaving it in the bed of my truck while at work lol. thanks for this 🤙🏻

I’m about 1 month in on this with a black t shirt. I started to add salt and baking soda to my boiled water towards the last week and I found that it accelerated the fade (I threw boiling water every other 2 days or so ymmv)

@@2gifts I honestly just nuke the shirt with handfuls of salt and baking soda. Once I see the boiling water get pretty murky I ease up. Salt and baking soda are pretty cheap anyway. Keep in mind that its gonna make the surrounding surface chalky when you throw it on the shirt but you can always rinse it down with a hose

There is a product called "Sun-in" it is a hair spray that gently bleaches your hair while youre in the sun. I've never tried this but you COULD mix it into some boiling water, fully soak the clothes, then sun soak. I am not a fan of using regular bleach because its too unnatural looking. But Sun-In could help sped up a more natural look.

All I've done is wear them. I've not "shopped" for myself in 10 years since becoming a widower dad of 3 month-old twins but for shoes and a couple of shirts. Just Friday I really felt I NEEDED clothes. Most everything is sun faded. I've found "hanging clothes on the line" before work on a hot Indiana day and getting rained on at night...and left for another sunny day leaves a perfect line of contrast. Just call me "Janus".

@williambilliams
@williambilliams 2 года назад
I don’t think it’s a bad move, but just to to keep the way you lay out the item as a constant. Like try to keep it in the same positioning when you take it inside and put it back out. My perspective with leaving it outside 24/7 is that it will just age and weather the clothing more and more, which is really what I was going for. The more natural damage in any way, the better imo.
