I have been watching Sun Fit and Well Advantage for ilang months na from different vloggers and I can tell na itong video mo and PINAKA-CLEAR, PINAKA-MAAYOS, and PINAKA DECENT. Very promising and PLAN na ito. The only problem is, the process on how to claim, how long does the claim will take, and gaano ka-stressful and claim process. As far as I know, wala pa akong napapanood na VIDEO from people na nakapag-Claim na for this kind of Plan. Thanks Philip!
Hi Adrian! Thank you for the kind words! Happy to be of help. For the process of claims it depends on the claim, either death, critical illness, hospital income or others. All have a contestability period, meaning all claims within two years from the approval date of the policy or from the date of last reinstatement (for lapsed policies reinstated), are subject for investigation. If the policy is more than 2 yrs and no lapsed month, then the claims will be faster unless it is due to accident. For the critical illness we have a 90 days waiting period after approval before we get a claim, this is to avoid pre existing conditions. For a death claim, upon the receipt of complete requirements, the fastest is within the day. Claims Process: 1. Notify Your Financial Advisor regarding the claim/Notify Sunlife (i do suggest to notify your advisor first so that you can be assisted properly) 2. The advisor will then help you accomplish the forms that will be given. 3. Then we shall be submit the forms along with other needed documents to sunlife for the claims. For a full set of documents and claims, we can view it here: www.sunlife.com.ph/en/about-us/how-to-file-a-claim-video/ Hope this helps!
As for my Sun Fit and Well clients, so far i have no claims from them. My only claim so far is a Hospital Income Benefit embedded as a rider in one of my Clients VUL Product. That is from my experience. For the process, the hib claim is released within 1 week from complete documents submission.
May mga claim claim pa pala Ito.So it means kailangan Mo pa rin na may Naka tabing pera for emergency?kase pera Mo muna ang gagamitin Mo habang di ka pa nakapag claim at may investigation pa akong narinig.. meron akong napanood na insurance HMO naman sya..once na nagpunta ka Sa doctor for check up tinatanong lang Nila Kung may health card ka at ayun wala ka Ng babayaran.nagagamit Yung card anytime na kailanganin so less worry ka.kung baga nakapag save ka for emergency and less worry ka Sa pagtakbo Sa doktor .
wow. thank you for this very informative video. sa lahat ng napanood ko about this plan. ito ung very well explained..as in. thanks again and godbless..
Hello po, salamat po sa napakaclarong discussion ng Sun Fit and Well Advantage po. Napakahusay niyo po. More to come p please especially yung Elite peso 10 po. 🙂 God bless po.
i am here not as agent or something but as a client so i hope there would be an actual scenario like what are the steps to do when claiming these benefits
Hi Lin, for a more detailed claims requirements and procedures, you can refer to this link below. 👇👇 www.sunlife.com.ph/PH/About+us/How+to+file+a+claim+Video?vgnLocale=en_CA Or Visit sunlife.com.ph and click file a claim. In Addition, hope this would help you, the first thing one must do is contact the advisor they have or to call sunlife's hotline. Also for Life Insurance Claims, if the insured surpasses the 2 years contestability period from the issue date, claims would be easy, if not it will be subject still for an investigation. For Critical illness claims, 90 days from the issue date would be safe for critical illness claims. Hope this answers your question, have a great day!
Example sa 2nd minor illness nya. Yung face amount is less 20% which is 800k Php na (kasi nakaclaim na sya sa 1st minor illness). Sa original FA (1M Php) pa rin ba ang value ng additional benefits or sa 20% (Original FA less 80% = 800k Php) na manggagaling ang percentage. Thank you po
Ganun din po ba sa endownment.kunyari naclaim mo na yung 50% due to minor illnesses at pagdating mo ng 65 yung 5% ay icocompute sa original fa or yung remaining face amount?
Bakit sabi ng FA ko. Optional ung HIB rider. Pag inadd un after 10 years. Babayadan sya ng tuloy tuloy till age 75 for 900+ per year in 11th year above
Thank you mam kitty for your comment. We do have po an optional HIB rider na pwedeng ilagay sa plan, and tama din po si FA niyo po na if iadd po yun, magbabayad padin po after the regular paying years, till age 60 po, the amount of premium added will depend on the coverage of the hib po. However, for the Sun Fit and Well Advantage Policy itself po, meron na po siyang embedded na HIB as one of its benefits, however it is different po from the hib rider. Overview of Difference; Inclusive HIB on Sun Fit and Well: ✔️Maximum of 90 Days Per Claim ✔️Must be connected to the critical illness claim ✔️No Minimum Days HIB Rider (Additional HIB Benefit) ✔️1000 Days Consumable for the duration of the policy ✔️Does not need to be connected to the critical illness claim to file ✔️Minimum of 3 confinement days to be used Thank you mam. Hope this helps.😊
Oh i see. Its seems clear na sakin now. Na i dont need to add rider na HIB kasi my inclusive naman na sya. Parang pag kumuha pako ng hib rider bale mamaximize lang sya . By the way may VUL ako na flexilink pero i will terminate it soon after 4 years paid. Uhuh Its very important tlga na iexplain sa client about maximum and minimum payment. Kasi inexplain lng sakin is 10 years payable but little i understood depende pla un kung kaya ng fund value ko . And i was just 25 no knowledge sa insurance. Now im turning 30 na .and got matured and knowledgeable more about insurance.
Yung Hospital Income Benefit is 0.0125% of the FA so hindi sya 112,500.00 kasi Daily Income Benefit sya: Hospital Income Benefit - Daily Hospital Income of 0.125% of Original Face Amount if the life insured is diagnosed as suffering from any Critical Illnesses resulting in hospital confinement, subject to a maximum of Ps 18,750 per day. We will pay twice the amount of daily Hospital Income if such hospital confinement is in the Intensive Care Unit. This benefit is subject to maximum of 90 days hospital confinement for Critical Illness under the same group and only up to 4 groups of Critical Illness.
Hi Emerson! The above illustration pertains to the client being confined for 90 days. 0.125% or 0.125/100 = 0.00125 Face Amount = 1M 0.00125 x 1,000,000 FA x 90 Days = 112,500 Php The 18,750 is the maximum daily limit, as for this example, the hib is at 1250 per day only. Have a great day!
@@diannecabuyao8076 hi mam dianne, yes mam. Once na magamit na either for Major Critical Illness ang Plan or Death Claim, tapos na po ang plan since 100% of the Face Amount/Insured amount will be given po.
Question po : What if No minor claim, No major claim. Hindi na hospitalized si insured by the age of 50 and/or age of 75. Anong benefits nya or sa beneficiary po? Thanks.
Hi Adrian! Thank you for the question. One is covered with fit and well, its critical illness and life insurance until the age of 100. Let me give you 2 scenarios, Scenario 1: Insured Lives at the age of 50, and 75. * No Claims for Major and Minor. 👉The insured is still insured until age of 100 👉The insured has a living benefit which includes dividends(not guaranteed), anticipated endowment(guaranteed which starts at the age of 65 until age of 72). 👉Even if minor claims are claimed, insured is still entitled of Endowment and Dividends. (For Minor claims only) Scenario 2: Insured dies at the age of 50, or 75 👉The beneficiaries will get the Life Insurance coverage plus the Dividends, less minor claims if any. Hope this answers your question. Have a great day!
Hi Mommy Carm, Yung guaranteed cash value mam will be given once you decide to surrender or end the policy along with the other living benefits like endowment and dividends if any. The withdrawable portion that will not affect the policy are the endowments and dividends mam. Have a great day and stay safe!
@@philipgregorgrande thank you! Got the sunfit and well max advantage for my husband. Planning to do a content din why I chose this plan. Pero recommend ko ung video mo for more detailed explanation. 😄
Another Question : No minor claim, No major claim. Na hospitalized ng 90 days pero wala sa list of illness. May makukuha pa rin ba syang claims? Thanks po uli.
Hi Adrian! Thank you for the question. For the plan on this video, the hib (hospital income benefit) is dependent on the critical illness claim. With that, if the Hospital claim is not due to a critical illness listed, there will be no claims that will be released. We do have an upgraded fit and well wherein one can avail of a external (rider) hospital income benefit in which it can be used for hospital daily income but must be confined for atleast 3 days. Hope this answers your question!
Sir Good Day! Nag paquoatation po ako ng Sunlife Fit and Well Advantage 20, tanong ko lang po bakit yung sa akin may kasamng Accidental Death Benefit, unlike sa pinipresent nyu?
Hi Jetsam Good Day! Accidental Death Benefit is an optional rider sir, meaning add on sa plan. Depende po sainyo sir if you will add it or not. The one discussed on the video is the main or core benefits sir. Have a great day!
Some insurance provider only has "Cancer" as entry, compared to a provider like this( Sunlife), which has a lot of specifics when it comes cancer ? Pros and Cons?
Hi there Jake, the Pros is, the Specific Cancer Booster is on top of the other cancer benefits that is provided on the base plan. This is given as an additional benefit of the plan, not a rider, it is a benfit. Pros, instead of just having 1 coverage for a certain cancer, if that cancer category fits in the bonus specific cancer category, the insured will get an additional 50%. Cons, if the cancer that was diagnosed is not part of the specific cancer category, the insured will be given the base plan for cancer or other illness that is covered. Still, the insured will be benefited. Hope this answers your question.
Thanks. Interesting, Upon doing my research, I have this personal assumptions that the more generic the list better. Coz the more specific the list the more strict it is, upon policy claims. Just correct me if I'm wrong, open to learning here.
@@ZX0815 you're welcome! Actually in critical illness claims, it is not difficult to claim as long as it is part of the covered illness. Unless otherwise the insured didnt provide his honest health situation at the time of application. That will be subject to investigation. It does not mean that if its generic its easy or difficult to claim, it all depends on the covered illness. The thing i always teach is that you must know your coverage before you get any. One must always read the fine print. Claims are easy as long as the following conditions are attained, 1. Coverage is Under the List of illness on the Contract 2. The applicant or insured In honest and truthfullness said the right medical condition he is in before application. 3. More than the contestability period for a critical illness. Usually a critical illness claim is contestable if 90 days after the approval of the policy, the insured got diagnosed critically ill. But again, if insured going back to number 2, said the honest and right things, no need to worry. Hope this answers your question.
Saan po sir manggagaling or nanggagaling ang special bonus paid up?? Pati po guaranteed cash value saan po nang gagaling yun??? Sa pagkaalam ko po manterminate ang contract kapag kinuha na ang Living Benefits??
sir I have a question, yong riders po ba ng sun fit and well is until 60 years old po ba to babayaran? like if i am going to avail the sun fit and well advantage 15, tas nag add ako ng supplementary benefits such as HIB, TDB, ADB...yong riders po ba is only 15 years lang din babayran or hindi?
Hi Sir Jason, Good Day! Thanks for watching the video. For the riders such as TDB and ADB, the payment term is also the same as the payment term for the plan. You won't be paying for it until the age of 60. For the HIB sir, in the video, the new HIB rider was not yet implemented at the time of recording, the HIB presented was the HIB that was already a part of the product. As for the New HIB rider sir, the one implemented almost a year already, once you add it to your Sun Fit and Well Advantage as a Rider, you will have to pay for the premium of the HIB rider until the age of 60. Hope this helps sir. God Bless!
Hi Mam Hana, Good Day! Thank you for the question. Kapag po umabot si insured ng age 101 ang makukuha po niya is the living benefit which includes the guaranteed anticipated endowment (given that the insured states on his/her policy that the endowment proceeds will be left in the company to accumulate), the accumulated cash dividends (if any), the accumulated special paid up bonus (if any). Hope this answers your question. Have a great day!
Hi Sir Leonides! Thank you for that question sir. If i understand your question right sir, your client wants to pay the whole payment duration of the policy (say 10 years). Yes sir, the client if ever can avail of what we call an advance premium option (APO) wherein he will be discounted from paying the full amount. The amount however depends on the amount and yrs that will be advanced. Hope this answers your question sir!
Sir sure po ba yung may nakeclaim pa na HIB, HR at PH dun sa sample nyo na third claim? Kasi yung explanation samin hangang 4 times lang yan pwede maclaim embedded sa mga CIB, with your sample illustration lumabas na 5 times ang claims ng additional benefit. Thanks
Hi Sir Robert Good Day, 4 claims lang po talaga siya, 3 Minor and 1 Major. On the illustration presented, kaya nagmuka siyang 5 claims kasi hindi nafull claim yung benefit for the second claim for hospitalization, kaya nagkaclaim pa on the 3rd (if and only if same sila ng category nung 2nd). If different category na, and naexhaust na ang lahat ng claims, it will stick to the 4 claims. Ang nangyari is, nasplit yung benefit ng 2nd claim into two since hindi siya nafullclaim. But again for the HIB, HR lang siya pwede, si CI and PH bawal masplit. Still 4 claims padin for the CI claims, for the Additional Benefits lang yung possible masplit if hindi namaximize. Hope this answers the question, Have a great day!
@@philipgregorgrande Ah ok Sir. So basically for as long as hindi na maximize yung 90 days confinement per group tapos another minor illness occur within the same group eligible pa na makakuha ng HIB at HR. So pwede palang lumabas na even more than 5 claims pa when it comes to HIB and HR basta hindi pa nakoconsume ang 90 day total confinement? Akala ko kasi sa maconsume or hindi yung 90 days per group tapos na sya tapos mapapakinabangan mo na lang yung HIB at HR sa ibang claims provided na iba na ding group. So parang consumable pala sya up to 75 years old. Thanks 👍
@@philipgregorgrande additional question po Sir. When it comes to payment of premium what if Sun Fit and Well 20 advantage ang kinuha ni client tapos on his second year nagclaim na sya ng isang beses for a minor CIB tuluy-tuloy pa rin ba pagbabayad nya ng premium hanggat hindi major CI yung kineclaim nya? Thanks 😊
Hi Marjorie! Good Day! If we follow the scenarios that was given on the discussion, the 5th claim would be a Major Claim. If the Minor Claims are already given, the amount that will be left behind would be 50% of the Face Amount as a Major Claim plus other benefits. If that Major Claim is on a Specific Cancer Category, we will payout an additional 50% of the original face amount. Making it 100% plus the cancer benefits, if not specific cancer, only 50% Face amount will be given plus benefits. And if the client will be diagnosed as terminally ill, he is entitled to receive a pallative care benefit equal to 10% of original face amount. Given the scenario taking place, the factor will be 1.1 times face amount. If its not a specific cancer, just 0.6 (Noting that it is a terminal case). If not a Terminal Case, it is just 0.5. The same formula for a 700K case. Hope this answers your question. Thank you!
Hi Mam Irena, Good Day, If during the paying period mam nagka major critical illness po si client, ibibigay na po yung full benefit and tapos na po si policy at hindi na po need magbayad ng succeeding payments. TDB po is for waiver naman po ng premium kapag nadiagnose po being totally disabled like bedridden na po or unable to work. Hope this answers your question po.
Hi! Yes, if the plan chosen is 10 years and you don't include an additional rider for a hospital income benefit. Also, there is an option for 15 years to pay or 20 years to pay that has the same benefit. This product is not a vul product, it is a traditional product, so you can be guaranteed it is only payable for a limited period of time. Hope this answers the question. Happy sunday!
Mas ok po itu compare sa vul ? Bka kc dcu kaya i sustain ang premium ng vul . Unlike netu 1o yrs lng . Gstu ku lang kc my maiwan sa pamilya ko of ever at my lahi din kmi ng hyblood and stroke .
@@justlikesunflowers4385 both are good mam, they cater po to different needs. However, usually plans like these po are a bit more pricey than vul considering it is guaranteed limited pay. If you are only after the life insurance and health (critical illness) benefits, and you see that the premium for this plan fits your budget, this plan might be better for you rather than a vul plan, because it is more likely to fit your needs, also given the family history, it might be a better fit for prevention. Hope this helps!
Hi Ash Lloyd, the premium payment differs from person to person due to age and gender. You can message me on Facebook/Messenger at Philip Gregor Grande for us to make a sample quotation tailored fit for you. Looking forward to talk to you!
putol inaabangan ko yung tanong ni ate na kung mamatay sya ng 80yrs old at di kinuha yung 400k magkano total ng death benefits nya and if ever nakuha nya 400k magkano makukuha nya na death benefit?
Hi Jhay! Brighter Day! For a 1M Coverage Sun Fit and Well Advantage: If ever mamatay siya at the age of 80 Yrs old at hindi niya kinuha si 400K. Let us start with the Payouts of 5% Face Amount (1,000,000) that is amounting to 400,000 at 50,000 payout per year. Each Payout is given yearly starting at the age of 65 for 8 consecutive years and that is 72. If the client doesn't want to get the 50,000 payout on a yearly basis, the payout will be left with the company to accumulate at a certain accumulation rate depending on the accumulation rate that time. Given this, the Inclusions of the Death Benefit will be: Total Death Benefit = Insurance Coverage (1M) less Minor Claims (If Any), less Endowment Payouts (400K), plus Accumulated Endowments (The 400K endowment that is already on earning on an accumulation rate), plus accumulated dividends. Thank you. Hope this answers your question. Have a great day!
Hi Mam Kath, thank you for the question. The Difference will be in the benefits they have. The Sun Fit and Well Advantage has all the benefits including Treatment and Rehabilitation like the hospital income benefits and home recovery benefits and guaranteed cash benefits. While the Sun Fit and Well Plus and Sun Fit and Well (Basic) doesnt come with the Treatment and Rehabilitation booster. And Lastly, the thing for the sun fit and well (basic), it also doesnt come with guranteed cash benefits unlike the other two of its variants. Hope this answers the question. Have a great day!
Hi Izzy, Total CI Claim Before the Age of 51, 500K. Critical Illness Benefit Total Prior to Claims is 1M. 1,000,000 - 500,000 = 500,000 Php (Amount left from the base CI coverage) Due to the illness being part of the Specific Cancer, the client is entitled for the cancer booster equal to 50% of the original face amount which is 50% of 1M that is 500K. Adding both: Base CI (Remaining Amount): 500,000 Cancer Booster: 500,000 CI Claims : 1M. Hope this answers your question. Have a great day!
Hi Mam Barbara, Yung discussed po sa video is the main benefits. We do have mam a new additional benefit na HIB Rider na pwede niyo iadd sa plan. Yung HIB po kasi mam na inclusive sa plan is kailangan related sa critical illness. Yung optional rider na HIB is pwede magamit sa any illness for confinement like dengue, pero need po na maka mimimum of 3 days confinement before claim.

Hi Rei Na! Good Day! As of date, for Policy Opening, need natin nasa Philippines si client kahit 1 to 2 days to fill and sign forms. @@reina9942 Hi mam, yes Mam, if the assured/insured designates his/her foreigner husband/wife/kids as a beneficiary to the insurance proceeds, proceeds will be given to them.
Hi @@reina9942, if it is not indicated in the list of covered illnesses, hindi po makakaclaim for the cib and hib. But for the death claim, still they can claim. Hope this answers your question po.
Hi Mark! For the basis of the Guaranteed Endowment, Starting at the age of 65, if No Major Claims Happened, even if there are Minor Claims. The Pay Out of 5% of the Face Amount will be given based on the original face amount/coverage for the next 8 years. That means, 40% of the Face Amount is Given back as a cash to the owner that is guaranteed. He wont get the whole payment back, but if the client achieved the age of 65 till 72, he already got almost 60% of his premiums back because of the payouts of 40% of Face Amount.
