One pole powers three robust tools to tackle everything from trimming your tallest hedges to sawing overhead limbs and logs and blowing leaves. Do more, in less time - groom higher and sweep farther with each pass for perfectly sheared shrubs and precisely trimmed trees, bushes and branches. And when you're done, simply blow away the dirt and debris! It features three adjustable and interchangeable power heads plus an adjustable 8-foot extension pole to reach high overhead or sweep way down low - just grab a battery and go! Swap tools in seconds and switch from the 8-inch saw to the 17.7-inch trimmer.

Perfect! Just what I was looking for. I love that I can tell you want to do the chain saw, but are trying to be cool with all the other products, like they are people with feelings, and then finally get to your favorite right from the start! Thank you!

Thanks for the review. I just ordered this kit online this morning so am glad it will work better than I expected. It looked so good online I didn't do any research before ordering. I have their tiller/cultivator and it works great so hoped this set of tools would be as good. Worx also makes great products and I have their electric chain saw and line trimmer. Looking forward to using this Sun Joe pole saw as some branches are higher up and I didn't want to be on a ladder with the bigger Worx saw. Have a huge wide hedge that has not been trimmed this summer yet as also too tall to trim unless I'm on a raised platform. Excited to try these out and am glad I procrastinated so I can use the new tools.

The Pole Chainsaw....For best results when cutting branches, try to cut on top of the branch if possible so the weight of the branch will bend it down and open up the cut as it gets deeper. Gravity will help pull it open and down to the ground. WARNING: Estimate the weight and direction of the falling branch. It can kill you, knock you out or put out an eye. Branches don't always fall straight down. If in doubt, throw a rope over the branch and tie it to a stake or other tree or person pulling on it in the OPPOSITE direction from you. Even small branches can hurt you when they fall. Know what you are doing before you cut.

I received this as a gift in hopes it would help me around the yard. I found it so awkward it is almost impossible to use. I tried to use the pole saw to trim my bamboo but could barely lift the dang thing. It kept getting caught and I finally gave up. I'm no weakling but I'm not Wonder Woman either. I'm hoping that this can be returned.

I am a Woman and have been using the chainsaw and I love it. I'll start using the trimmer and blower now because now I know how to use it due to your display. Thanks!

I find the hedge trimmer on the long arm works well if I was used to lifting weights. I can last 15-30 minutes before my arms and back scream for me to stop. The hedge is very tall and there is a lot of it so it takes me about a week to do it in sections. The good news is that the battery lasts longer than I do. I'm 72, so maybe I have more of an excuse to get tired sooner?

Now that I have used mine for one season, there are a few things you should know. The thin clear oil that comes in that bottle is not for the pole saw reservoir, but for the hedge trimming blades! The pole saw needs a thicker oil specifically for chain saws and blades- mine is pink so can see the level in tank easily. Transfer that thinner clear mineral oil (and buy more when you also get some chain saw blade oil) to a medium size spray bottle and spritz on both sides of the hedge trim blades before, sometimes half way through job if trimming quite a bit and after use for storage. Using it from the bottle doesn't cover where you need the oil, and I drip and waste much, so spray instead. Where the heck is your safety sense? Safety glasses at least (gloves and ear protection at best). I have a lot of equipment (lawn tractor, this yard set, a small chain saw, power washer, self-propelled hand mower, weed whacker, cultivator-tiller, pull behind a tractor lawn sweeper, utility trailer and more) that are well looked after because I do my research and own maintenance on everything myself. You are a typical guy though ... throw out instructions, no research before rushing out to play with it and then blame equipment when it only lasts one season! I did appreciate your video though so we got a demo of how it works out of the box... but... make sure to do more research. There are great RU-vid videos on proper hedge trimming, pole saw use, tree and brush pruning techniques.

Why do people care about safety glasses and ear protection 😂. The guys a contractor and has all his fingers and both his eyes. Obviously knows when and if he is gonna need protection. It's sad that so many you tube content creators have to say , let me get my safety gear because losers in the comments will yell at me. Who cares. Remove all safety tags from everything and let nature take its course. Weed out the dum dums

@@TRUMP_WAS_RIGHT_ABOUT_EVRYTHNG LOL about safety gear being used. I still have all my parts intact at 72, so there might be something to not being a dumb-dumb and not just hoping for the best without taking precautions. Lost my Dad in his early 80s because he used to work with a lot of chemicals and sprays and he was stubborn and thought he was Superman until he got a type of blood cancer due to the fumes and chemicals he used. I work with cutting glass and the one time I was sorting it in the racks without my glasses, I got a glass chip in my eye (fortunately got it out quickly and no damage). So... happy to let those who wish to not live as long do as they wish. I'm going to make it beyond 100 by being a careful wuss.

@@marg4229 i hear ya! what did your dad do for work? My dad died at 51 from Lung Cancer. NON SMOKER!! healthy as a horse, power lifter and body builder from 18 years old to time of cancer diagnosis. my best assumption on how he got cancer was the talc powder in the chalk the power lifters always used. Im a nurse last 15 years, before that i was a carpenter for about 15 years. im 46 now. i do wear hearing and eye protection when i feel its needed, i also have a chop saw with no guard lol. never cut myself with any saw. that being said , my one injury work related was while i was fabricating a solid surface countertop. 2 part epoxy gun went wonky and the hardener got in my eye! YES i had safety glasses ON . i thought wtf , really?? it went under my glasses by my cheek where theres likean 1/8 inch gap lol we can be safe as osha thinks we are and still get injured. GODSPEED old timer you'll get to 100!

@@TRUMP_WAS_RIGHT_ABOUT_EVRYTHNG He was an aircraft engineer and could also fix ANYTHING, small float planes, helicopters, commercial airlines, boat engines, rebuild cars from scrap right down to repainting it himself, all appliances, built the family home... I don't think there was anything he couldn't do and this was all before RU-vid help. He is the one experts would call to ask for help! My Mom had to finally beg him to stop fixing her washer/dryer set because it was so old that he would even machine his own parts for it because they were no longer sold. She wanted a new set finally. Great when your job and your hobbies are the same thing. BTW... When you get to be in your 70s, you will cringe when someone calls you an old timer. That label doesn't take effect until someone reaches 100 years old!

Glad you showed the log. And was a descent size. Curious what instructions said diameter they suggest.

Well I wouldn't think anything bigger than the saw it self. Yeah I don't remember if it said anything about the diameter at all. It was a long time ago now.
