Beautiful RV Resort......The always beautiful Smoky Mountains......Great video...... Congrats...... Keep safe....... See you on the road....... Love MOM...>>>
Well you were in my backyard. All of my life The Great Smokey Mountains and surrounding areas has been our hidden paradise. There's literally something for everyone. Perhaps you can get back and spend a whole week. You barely scratched the surface of what there is to do.....
Thanks for this trip down memory lane. Ok We used to spend the summer here when the kids were little & it was known as River Plantation. You could store your travel trailer on site too. On the day of your reservation the resort would pull out your travel trailer & set it on the site. We had season passes to Dollywood. The kids loved it here We stayed there each year until we finally sold our RV. We had some of the best days of our lives there. Some day we will have to return for a visit.
@@TravelingRobert Thanks Robert. I had wondered about that since we’ve been thinking about getting another travel trailer. Little Matthew Slade was watching your video with me & it’s safe to say that the lazy River was a big hit with him. Keep up the good work & safe travels.
Just came back from the smokies . Always enjoy being there. Great video Robert. Did you notice the bird eating the snake when the goose was swimming down the river?
Did you notice when you were filming the goose on the river the crane in the background on the bank had a snake 🐍 in its mouth. Be careful where you step!
*WoW* This Resort Has EVERYTHING A Traveler Could Need OR Want!! That Dog Wash, was Unique & I to, have Never Seen That, Anywhere. I'd Love to Rent that Large Cabin, up on That Hill. I'd take Our Eight Grandkids (Ages 2-19), Something for Each!! Thanks for Sharing, Robert. Can't wait for The Next Adventure. Hola, from "CALIENTE" VERY Hot, South TeXas!! ~Laurie Ann
Thank you for sharing Robert We love the smokies as well We have to check out that Rv resort next time We like going to little arrow Rv resort in Townsend Tn (Hidden gem )
Prices are on the website. I just checked. They're pretty pricey on weekends. $78 is lowest price for weekend after July 4th. $198.97 for two nights total with taxes. That's the lowest one, others are higher.
Very nice campground. I stayed there last July with a vintage camper group. Sun Outdoors had recently purchased the campground, and priced us out for any future trips, so we changed campgrounds. It took a long time to get a price from them for the next year, and it was way more than we were willing to pay, so we won't be back.
We stayed at Pigeon Forge years ago right by the river and there wasn't much there then. We then drove into Gatlinburg and wow, it looked like Las Vegas with all the places and people there! It was just outside the entrance to Smokey Mountains National Park.
Was just in the Smokey Mountains for a month in May-June. My parents live in a small community not far from where you are staying. I have driven by this area for years and never knew that park was there. I just stayed at the Douglas dam tailwater campground. Was right down on the river. It was wonderful. I will have to check this place out now that I know of it. Be Blessed!
Looks like a really nice RV park. I am looking forward to your video of Piegon Forge area. I am looking at buying a home in a tiny house community nearby.
Great video. We were in the area for fathers day weekend. However we stayed at The Ridge RV Resort which is SE of there a few miles. We love the Smoky Mountains. That resort does look very nice. May be a place we will check out!
OMG! The side where the Blue Ridge mountains are located, has it going on! 🏞🏕🍽🏸🚲🚍🧺 I think the I-95 side needs to work on the fun part! Thanks so much for sharing, Robert!🤗🌺🏞🏕
8:00 to carry propane there is a bit of work in keeping the right to sell propane - certification - requires online schooling - I spoke to an RV park owner when he was doing it - it's a joke. Lot's of work.
Robert isnt independently wealthy and needs to make money to survive. So big deal. Nobody has a gun to your head to watch them. Besides that he puts out excellent content in his videos and we trust his word which is why sponsors ask him to be an ambassador for their products. Cut the guy some slack.
@@mygypsyadventure3610 payment for videos doesn’t produce honest opinions. He does produce good videos. Never said he doesn’t. But there is a point when these content creators become commercial advertisers
Some of us enjoy content like this. You get to see the resort and form your own opinion. If you don't like sponsored videos like this you have the option to not watch.
All of his videos are sponsored 😂. If they weren't, then he wouldn't be able to travel and film these amazing videos all across the country. RU-vid doesn't pay enough for it.
