Do the Tory party actually understand the average British voter? It appears not, Boris was a gimmick at best the first time around, people only got behind him because they wanted Brexit and that's the only reason the Tories have had a majority on the back of the referendum and Brexit, without that they are a minority government. Reform for me, common sense at last and ordinary local people who actually care.

@neecierussell595 i'm reasonably wealthy and they've been a train wreck to my finances, i'm one of the luck ones i actively manage my families pension and savings. Even then I still took a hit. Anyone nearing retirement who had an automatic tapering into what was supposed to be safer investments could have seen near 40% of their SIPP wiped out by the Truss event In total its estimated Pension values fell by 25% and lost 425 billion in value in 2022

I applied for my postal vote and was granted it early in June. My ballot arrived in Bangkok yesterday - too late to return by close of polling even if I used DHL rapid delivery. This has never happened before and I am very angry that my democratic rights have been prevented. It's yet another failing by this disastrous government. I should vote in Mid Devon, so I will watch very carefully to see how close the result is.

Attacking Starmer for wishing to spend Friday with his family, then reintroducing Boris back into the limelight is yet another bonkers campaign move. The Labour rebuttal was that Boris spent time when he was Prime minister writing a book for his own personal gain, bringing him back is just reinforcing that.
