Decrease National Insurance to 6% which is supposed to fund the NHS?! The NHS outside London is massively underfunded and dangerous levels of understaffed health departments, with lack of expertise, costs lives. Forget tax cuts, Britain needs the right resources funded properly. Whether healthcare, roads, trains, or education. All areas are failing under this conservative government. Never mind home prices, which are completely unaffordable to anyone outside earning a high salary.
He can promise it because A he knows he'll never get to do it, and B he has no intention hanging around in the UK long enough for any changes to affect him. The bit about gerrymandering made me laugh. He's literally calling out exactly what the Tories have tried to do. Can we say voter ID? Changed constituency boundaries?
I am a 45yo 100% white BRITISH. I havent work in a job for more than 15 years. I get lots of benefits from the government and they are enough to fund my modest lifestyle. Our government love imigrants so much i will those lovely immigrants for and pay the taxes for me. In my personal point of view , there is no point to work because you get free money anyway. A lot of my British friends also in the same situation and i encourage people to do have this approach.
@@ghosthdel3098 "In my personal point of view , there is no point to work because you get free money anyway" So, you're advocating slashing benefits, then?
There is no "the" NHS because it is devolved and the English lavish cash on Scotland's NHS. Only a couple of weeks ago a cancer drug was denied patients in England, but is freely available in Scotland. This is because England is the only country in the world without its own elected assembly.
@@ghosthdel3098 Yeah, I'm calling bullshit on everything you just claimed (in your terrible incorrect English) - are you in Moscow or St Petersburg there Oleg ?
You raised taxes to the highest level in 70 years. You set the highest marginal tax rate at above 100%. I don't know if Labour will be better, but this is really really bad
I think I could kick him a whole lot further than I would trust him. What I do know is that I am not interested in hearing anything he has to say. Firstly he's a liar of Johnsonian proportions, and secondly anything he says he wants to do, he could have done already, He's the incumbent Prime Minister and prior to that was part of the cabinet for years. He and his wretched party has been in power for the last 14 years, we've seen what they do and I, for one, want no more of it.
Just checking - who's been in power whilst the taxes and immigration have gone sky-high? Also, for the record, by tax cuts, he only means tax cuts for the wealthy, and he's planning to pay for it by cutting benefits for the poor and sick who are barely getting by as it is.
Someone should have reminded Gove that before Covid, inflation hadn't skyrocketed under their governance. If benefits were 'down' to pre-pandemic levels, then that would be a national scandal.
So lets all deny him. And enjoy the spectacle of his crestfallen and frustrated demeanour, as he slopes of into oblivion. Realising the lies and fraud didn't fool the people, like he thought they were.
Halving national insurance. Fair enough. But what happens to the state pension down the line? Ahh, your not going to pay it until we reach the age of 95. Didn't tell us that part.
he's not going to pay it full stop! the turdies are looking to raise the retirement age to 75+ but they are secretly hoping we all croak before that age!
They've flip-flopped like mad for years. They simply aren't a political party. They're a front, messing about, trying to look impressive in suits as they dabble in the idea of something they think will make their father's proud. But if this is what they DID as politicians and world leaders, if wrecking a NATION is their legacy, that is EVERYTHING to be ashamed of. Bernard Madoff's son killed himself over something that caused less damage than this, and his father was the biggest ponzi schemer in history. Let that sink him.
So let me get this straight the self employed pay no NI but will get a state pension they don't need it to contribute to the NHS either. Were they having another drunken party when they wrote the manifest
Whos taxes the rich and big companies, the loopholes need shut so they pay more. Also your have disgraced this country sunak with not staying. Plus you have left this country with armed forces that are a joke. BYE BYE.
Clearly you're not from the UK if you think he's unelected. His constituents VOTED for him to be a MP and his party VOTED him as leader. Just like it's been done for HUNDREDS OF YEARS.
@Dark_Bandon your mistaken, we elected MPs. The largest party is invited to form a government based on the notion that they can reliable command a majority in the house of commons. Each party has it own procedures for choosing their leader. I'm not happy how this was conducted for the current PM. He emerge as the least worse choice, after months of the normal problems... not elected my me nor you. Nor the members of the party, only his fellow mps. So, like I say, unelected failure.
@Dark_Bandon I also note you have no problem with them listed as failures... also the rules for selecting tory party leaders has changed many times in the last twenty-five years. So read some history before to make up facts.
Is it worth that much given that health related benefits are now oversubscribed? Sunak you had a part in triggering the global financial crash in 2008.
Fraud on the people. Same as with water charges and sewage discharges turning England into a Tory cess pit. Can anyone afford the £100Bn EXTRA they say it will cost to clean up their filth? Where did the water charges billions go? Into the pockets of crooks?
@@michael-lt2lfNo need to be a patronising oaf. Renewables will be cheaper in the long run and if we don't make a change now, it will be too late. Existential crisis is never off topic.
By freezing thresholds and targeting the disabled as well as just cutting NI does nothing for the lower paid and pensioners and worse net zero would lower energy bills
@@Cannon_Fodder_Russians Labour have abandoned the working class, when u have 5 years of them, you'll see, and you'll come over to Reform lol :) see ya then
A vote for Reform is the same as a vote for the less competent, hard right of the Tory Party. The only clever thing about the Reform Party is their name, and they stole that.
Easy answers to complicated problems is reforms game. Trump style populism, no thanks. Oh, and why are reform a public limited company (PLC) is that not a bit fishy to you ? I don't want to join Russia and Belarus, the only 2 countries not part of the commission on human rights either tbh, I rather like my workers rights and pension rights and all the others they never mention, part of ECHR.
@@sophie.sienna That's not true but please keep telling yourself that because I like when people like you are proven wrong. . The Labour party represents WORKING CLASS because it is funded by UNION MEMBERS who go to work each day. Doctors , Nurses , Engineers , Train Workers , Retail Workers , Hospitality Workers and every other WORKING CLASS SECTOR of employment. I win. You lose. Thanks for playing.
Calm down. You're not in danger and you clearly don't understand how asylum seeking works. Do a bit of reading about that before embarrassing yourself again in the comments.
You missed the bit about the tax cuts being entirely unfunded. Sorry but the location speaks little of high tech innovation, and much of "The wheels coming off"
I don't know why I clicked on this supposed news channel, but nevertheless while I'm here. 14 years and all of a sudden they're gonna save Britain... Roll on 4th of July and I ain't even American
People don't care about taxes; they worry about living costs. What is half of National Insurance when inflation gets worse each year? In fact, people would actually pay more tax if it meant they could have a normal life in the UK without living in constant poverty or being stuck on benefits.
