I can remember Credo on ITV being a serious Christian current affairs programme. I couldn't imagine any of the main broadcasters even going near this, same as Everyman was banished decades ago.

Nice to hear that Everyman theme again. A bit Panorama-esque as well with its orchestral pomp. Which is exactly what the show was pitching itself as - a Sunday Panorama with a Moral/Ethical/Religious dimension.

There was a joke on a BBC radio satire show at the time which described David Steel's Lib-Lab Pact as a "labour-saving device". 😀
