I cry with Jesus everyday. I was told by everyone as time goes by it doesn't. My friend told me he lost his son years ago... And it never gets easier... I too believe it never gets easier. The meetings in dreams are only a few times . not enough times. So we cry to Jesus everyday. 🙏 🌹 ✝ 🌹 🙏

Our family Christmas story took place 52 years ago at Mass. We were to sing "Joy to the World" and my 6 year old son belted out, "Jeremiah was a bull frog...." His 7 and 8 year old sisters tap danced to The Three Dog Night song. God bless the children.

Hit home Fr. Dave About 1 hour ago my son, wife and kids left after Christmas visit this past week. At first, busy cleaning up after company. Then sat down to take a break and realized how quiet it was. My husband passed away 4 years ago, in the silence realized how much I miss him. The silence was filled for a while with my families' company, as they stayed with me. Then notice that Mass was available so decided to watch. As you can understand how apripro your sermon is for me right now at this moment. Thank you for this ministry. Now if this timing isn't a Godwink( as my mom used to say) not sure what is. Children singing at Communion was lovely. So true. My husband and I were called to married life over 33 years ago. God knows what is best for us. We just have to be open to Him and trust Him. It does not mean that life will be easy or perfect, but it does mean that we will have God with us from the start and always.

Good morning Fr Dave on this lazy day off 2023. All your homilies are a weekly and annual lesson towards growing in our faith. We pray to God to strengthen you Fr Dave Diane and Jess and Cragley and all your families be blessed always. Your church and your nativity scene is beautiful and we pray for those who set up your parish that looks absolutely amazing and inviting. We here in South Africa did not have midnight mass but we had a beautiful mass at 18:00 at the parish where my brother and family attends. It was a beautiful mass with Fr Joe and it was a wonderful change. Fr Dave I ask that you pray for me as is embark on a tour to the Netherlands and Germany. That we will be safe and return home so can rejoin the 2024 online mass which I enjoy and don’t like to miss Fr Dave. Wishing you all the St Martha’s online team a blessed and rewarding 2024 New Year with the Lord’s well rounded family. You are truly an amazing priest. I spent last night in tears thinking about the coming new year and dreading new years eve. I lost my beloved husband in September and i am feeling a sense of dread going into a new year without him. "Silence and Healing" what a wonderful message Fr. Dave, we need Silence and Healing in the New Year. With the loss of a loved one, we hear silence and it can be crippling and hard. But if we remember like you said, Jesus enters Silence in his ministry life. He entered silence on Good Friday, but that silence is not forever, just a pause. Let us enjoy the Silence in the New Year, Silence of Peace. Happy and Blessed New Year to All!

This sermon couldn't come at a better time we lost my nephew on the 22nd of December. He battled with depression and handled it in all the wrong ways God finally took him on the 22nd of December to heaven and 50 years old I sent your sermon to my husband to help him heal and my sister-in-law to help. Fr. Dave, your Homily today, as always, was very inspiring! Today's Homily especially spoke to me! I lost my 29yo son in 2020. I lost my dad nine months later. My grief has been harder for me this year than the last three! There are times when I welcome the silence..to grieve and to pray to Jesus! Silence can be very powerful to us humans but especially to us bereaved parents! Happy New Year to you all from South Carolina!

Happy New Year! I would be lost without you Father Dave. You saved me during covid especially. I might be a Packer fan but please may we always cheer each other on! Thank you Father Dave , your homily really hit home. I am the last of my family, however I always try to keep a positive attitude. I was mostly raised by my grandparents and my uncle (Sam) lol. My mother was an only child, so no aunts or uncles or cousins. I had my brother who was my best friend. I lost my grandmother, my grandfather, my uncle and my brother all within three years when I was only around 16 or 17 years old. I lost my mother eight or nine years ago, so no one left really to share the memories with. I do however have a fiancé of 20+ years who is so good to me, I often wonder what I did right in life to deserve him. So I have gotten strength through my silences, and through God. I know one day I will see them all again. Wishing you and your Parrish, and of course Cragley 🐾 a very safe and happy New Year’s. Let us pray for peace in 2024.🙏🏽✨

I always love listening to you Father Dave. Many times I will have something on my mind and you seem to cover whatever that might be and it does give my comfort in some way. I also love to watch you and Craggly(sp). I have 2 dogs and a cat so my furry kids have been a blessing especially since my husband passed this year, (the dog pictured here in not one of them as she passed several years ago but she too was a big blessing). Anyway, thank you for just being you and hope the New Year is a good one for all of us.
