Do people still go for Sunday afternoon drives? We do! Come along with us as we take a Sunday drive around Columbus, Georgia. There are so many changes going on here in the Chattahoochee Valley. A lot of construction, removal of favorite old places, and renewing of a park area are happening in the Fountain City right now!

I am from Phenix City. My parents and I lived on 14th Street (close to the Colonial Funeral home in 1957). My grandmother lived on 22nd Street and Summerville Road ( 50 feet from the Pine Grove Cemetery).....I have pictures. I would love chat by phone if possible. I really enjoy the history of the Columbus and Phenix City areas. I appreciate your enthusiasm for our city.

This is a very interesting video. Columbus looks like a really nice place. Of course, like so many places, there are some abandoned spots. *There's also a lot of renovation, as well. I cannot get over, coming from New England, how flat the roads, and landscapes are.🛣👏🏻 Sometimes, it is hard to go back. Invariably, something has changed. Thank you T&T, this was a lovely ridealong. 😀🙏🏻🛣👏🏻👏🏻🍁

Hi Tim and Tammy, I am the person that recommended the Pine Grove Cemetery in Phenix city. Thank you for taking us along on this unique venture throughout Columbus. I really appreciate it!. Can you do review on the new Broadway in downtown Columbus ?... I noticed that there are new apartments/ condos on the corner of Broadway and 13th street( close to Country's restaurant)....What are your impressions?. Do you ever take personal calls( regarding Columbus?....

We've been avoiding that area a little bit because there is so much construction going on down there. Columbus is growing rapidly it seems. We will probably go back over to Broadway around Christmas time. It's sort of become a regular thing for us to ride around the Uptown area in late December to check out the decorations and changes.
