Lowriders are keeping the Classic Cars alive! That's what I love and respect about the Culture. If the cars break, they fix the car THEMSELVES and keep on Lowridin'....That's how you treat a car, you keep her ALIVE! Much love from Vegas.
+pistolpeeroy fuck you punk. Don't know what your fucking problem is but if you like to live a life with violence then join the army. Too much violence in this world, don't need anymore. This video shows people having a good time. You dumbass.
This was a pleasure to see, to all the fellas involved in the video, please keep this up. You are doing nothing wrong accept celebrating a culture that is uniquely Californian. Remind me of my good ol days in the early 80's.
I wish american made cars weren't such a rarety in Australia. I'd love to own a 64 impala man. If someone put a bugatti and a fully equipped 64 impala in front of me and told me to choose, I'd go 64 Impala every single day of the week.
nah because then they wouldnt be as exciting to see when you see a lowrider, and id rather a bugatti because you could sell it and buy a lowrider and more lol
But I wouldn't be able to sell it in Australia seeing as it's illegal to have cars of that type. Something to do with the ride height and it being made only in left hand drive.
Much Love to Cali comin from the East Coast (DC)......this shit is beautiful, thanks for sharing. When I get over my fear of flyin, Cali is my first stop....
Great Video, Love all those old vehicles, Looks like they are cherished , its good to see the car history kept alive.. its a shame the cops had to break it up and spoil it..
***** I understand you're frustration I'm 35 years old born in MLK hospital in 79 my first 10 years of living where in WATTS on Mona and imperial across the street from the projects. in those years it's was all Blacks , I remember when blacks use to do so much to the few mexicans that lived here my family included! I hated black people or what they did to us and yet I didn't even know what the word N'''r was , I was also afraid of the older ones I use to go to grape st elementary and I had my fair share of fighting, when crack hit in the 80' we use to get robbed a lot broke in our homes I remember when once they came in our house made us all lay down in the middle of the living room floor through a blanket on top of us and said that if we pop our head out the cover that they'll blow us away! I still remember that till this day! in those day and still to this day. illegal Mexican people where afraid to fight back because of deportation reasons. but many of those mexican immigrants had kids who are now CHICANOS, there where already CHICANOS in ELA in those times and they where aware of the problem in south L.A because a lot of Mexican people where fleeing to ELA and they protected it from everything that was going on around it! yes I hated Blacks but that was before I opened my eyes.
***** dose that make it right for what Brown is doing to blacks in ELA ?? NO ITS NOT!! but it's hard to for get just like it's hard to forget what the whites did to the blacks ... not just as bad I know, but blood had been shed .... I don't agree with any of this BS that's going on in thees streets! I'm from Compton I was gangbanging with a Varrio that got along hella tough with a black gang we even sported there color going to school together and even spending nights at each other's houses! man we even had black homeboys from our Varrio . The healing needs to start! ASAP! there's no need for it anymore! it's time to move forward! I wish 2pac and Eazy E was still alive! shit would be different right about now!
Damn, all I see here in Washington is sport utility vehicles. This 70 yo grandma gets heart thump seeing bad ass cars. The skill used to build them is so impressive.
people don't realize that low riders and that whole scene was Mexican American and to say Mexicans didn't contribute to LA gangsta rap in the 90's is straight up hating. even the word Homeboy came from the Chicanos. When black people jump on its just blew up. mane I was I was born in the 90's everyone was cool but still banging, the Graff scene was just getting popular. What a good era to have lived in. Shots out to all them Mexican Americans and Black Americans who LA the place to be.. #ILoveMyCity #neLA #DTLA

+king life Mexicans practically own that low rider shit now. But I will not let you say they made that shit up nor did they make up homeboy lol I will go a step further. They didn’t even make up holmes. Put I will give you guess that word if you would like.
So to me it's not fuck black or fuck whites or fuck Latinos it's fuck you for being racist and I'm white and I'm not getting fucked period so fuck you for being an idiot.
Nice. Miss the good ol days in LA. I just don't understand what happen to the respect factor of lowridin. It is always about showboaten, but the intent in the beginning was who could get the most girls. Not who has the biggest mouth. The talking is done but the craftsmanship of your ride and the presentation. The girls judge by who they go home with. Those are the trophies. That's how it used to be. From this video, the basics are lost
Hi Guys, this is Peter from Holland with a question. I'm heading to LA this summer with my girlfriend and would like to visit some car shows. Don't matter what make as long as it's high or low :-) Any suggestions? I don't know the city that well and don't where to go or just not.. Would love to hear some.
I know it won't be a popular comment, but the way I see this is such a waste, the amount of money they waste on "their ride" could have been spent making a small business, or putting away for an education for themselves or their kids, buying food and necessities, but this shows you why many of the poor stay poor. their priorities are not on bigger prizes, they settle for this, but it's the way they think and this is the result, oh don't get me wrong I wouldn't care if they are well off and have money to spare but lets be honest, I grew up in the inner city and most do not have that kind of cash because they are Doctors or Lawyers living in the "hood".
peter8488 A lot of these guys are educated, do own businesses, have great jobs, families, doing well for themselves and just so happen to like low riders. its a hobbie to them. So what are you talking about? Stop falling for the stereotype you see on T.V
Too each his own! I don't get it? full size cars bouncing up & down, wow wee ! , In a state where you have some of the most strict vehicle laws. how is this bs possible
SCheco3 mexicans who come to usa tend to be low class and uneducate ones ones in usa aka chicanos tend to be offsprings of low class and educated immigrants
Fuck da haters. it all bout the cars. Black and Brown need to unite to fight our real enemy. United we stand divided we fall. Be informed Be free! and Chevy Luv....
I was wrong about that black n brown coalition but it is still all about the cars. Be informed Be free. Blk 1st Hotep #hold your own nuts. (its business not personal)
