The circle lawn would be gorgeous! Not really drastic, we did something like that. All we did was put a strong cord or rope and placed it where we wanted the grass to stay, secured it down (with heavy rocks or pegs) took a sharp flat shovel and pierced the ground and started digging. It was very satisfying indeed. We transferred some grass to the front of the house. We then put mulch down on the new dirt part and planted our garden! Can't wait to see you dig right in!

I vote for small fruit trees. you might have to have two to pollinate each.

I think a roast is ok as a bigger portion as yours (and what I serve) has lots of vegetables on it. If we have a roast we usually have breakfast then roast 4/5 pm and no other meal that day! Those pockets look a good idea, I often do similar but with wraps so may try those. I love making enchiladas filled with veggies too. I love sweet potatoes in any form! Your old house looks great, good choices by your parents Elliot - the kitchen moved there is a much more useable shape I think. They have lots of extra room now. Your filming room will be good too. Xx

I think the portion sizes are fine as the plate was mostly veg. I'm so impressed Matt cooked carrots, parsnips, broccoli and peas, great vitamins! Re the new tubs, how about small fruit trees, maybe a lemon or plum? You could also try a strawberry Bush or other soft fruit? 😊

I love the garden. I an curious if you decided what you will plant in the planters. I would do green scrubs and any perennial plants around the base of it for extra color.

Stumbled across your channel and loving it! Can I ask what you and Matt do for work?

The portions are too large. It’s fine for a one off but if you are regularly eating double the recommended serving size you will be consuming too many calories. I think it’s fine for a Sunday but cut back the rest of the week 😊

The garden is looking nice, we went back to pre warm weather temps so chilly and snow/frozen mix forecast and bit warmer and rain. Can't wait to see the greenhouse. Some munchkins love outdoors others hate it, my daughters were very opposite of each other, the remaining one is definitely indoor though my daughter had leash trained both as babies, when she adopted them. Lovely shopping haul, I always look for markdowns since I mainly cook from scratch, and mostly buy organic, as most US allowed preservatives and I don't get along at all as in allergies. I think for huge men, now not meant in any way disparaging, I am just 5'2" barely 110lbs, that is a nice Sunday dinner/lunch tons of veggies, the kraut helps digestion, me that would last 2-3 meals a plate. Your mom has really great taste, I like what she has done to your old place a vibrant accent colour is the icing on the cake, the good expensive kind. I do agree the new doors are beautiful and i like the kitchen colors as well. I am sure your dad is glad to spread out with a den/office of his own. i could see it getting cosier in the future. My mom was really good at interior decorating too, it is a gifted skill, you actually have that gift too by the way. I think the idea of using the two rooms your parents don't need as Studio and dressingroom, and your research library in the hall is very smart and clever. That way Brenda doesn't have to tidy up so much, you get to see your parents often for a chinwag and you can go all out for the reviewer digs. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Really enjoy your vlogs and seeing how the gardening is coming along. I do agree with you on cutting back on the roast, all the meals to be honest. It makes me laugh that Americans are considered fat, but watching Brit’s cook makes me gasp (I’m an expat). Huge roasts, chips with everything (pizza, lasagna, macaroni, etc) lol. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not judging, just passing a comment.

Matt’s portion size should be HIS hand size…. Hence each person’s portion size should be in relation to their palm size not someone else’s. Matt is exceptionally tall…. It’s natural that it takes more fuel to fuel his body than it does for Elliot
