The journey to Llangollen is one the most scenic drives in North Wales, stunning. Llangollen itself is a beautiful place that never gets old. The river was if I remember a great brown trout fishery. Such a sunny day for a walk about, and a fantastic looking Sunday lunch. Lovely xxxx

Good Sunday afternoon Pete.... I am always so excited when you go into town because I know you will take us on some new adventure. And of course you have not failed with the sights and sounds. I would have had no restraint in the lovely antique shops as there were several pieces that would have gone home with me, lol. Yesterday was gorgeous in New York so I visited an antique shop in my neighborhood. Your food choices looked divine; and that whole village/townscape view of water, forna, flora, bikes 🚲 and the mechanics of the train 🚆 and station was like seeing it again for the first time. Thanks for the trip Pete.

Like you I use any excuse to visit this picturesque town. My first visit was as a 9 year old schoolboy on a school coach trip from Rhyl, I have been in love with Llangollen ever since!

Beautiful day, beautiful road trip. Riding in the Jaguar is the way to go! Oh seeing vehicles coming forward on the right gives me the willies! We drive on the opposite sides of the road here in the US. Nice green hills and lots of bikes! The fluffy cumulus clouds and green hills at 2:22 were fantastic. Bridge End Hotel...I want to eat there as well. What a plate of Fish And Chips @ 8:33 ! Wow. Your roast lamb looked perfectly roasted. I could dig into that. Wow....which plate to dig in from ? Yes plenty pasties to go from the shop at 12:50 I'd take one of each in the entire case! Welsh Gin...interesting. What's that all about, Pete? Thanks for sharing another wonderful excursion!
