The rider isn't balanced on that horse so if something happens her foot might get caught she might fall off many things can go wrong at shows bc it's a new place and the horse could get like OMG IS THAT A DOG?!?!? Or OMG IT A LOUD NOISE HELP and bucks (Ik long might not make sense but u might get the point)
Jumbo 78 all these animal activists or blind people who follow them are brainwashed into thinking any tack the activist dosent use is bad. like raleigh reacts for example, most of the information she spreads about animal abuse is great but the the odd video she just says things that aren’t true and that don’t work. i’m qualified and she’s not and it hurts to see her spread false information to young aspiring children. you can also see her horse is extremely malnourished and sore but she dosent see that yano. going bitless isn’t great, some hackamores and shanks can put way more pain and pressure on the horse. so can riding bareback even if u use a saddle pad it’s very bad for the horse unless ur horse has a very good top line and u have great balance
When ridden with a light considerate hand neither a hackamore nor a bitter bridle should pain the horse but because of the facial nerves that a hackamore puts pressure on I don't think I would ride in one. Depends on the horse but it can cause serious long term damage to their face whereas a simple loose ring snaffle or French link causes much less damage. Correct me if I'm wrong
