I am so blessed that I get to hear these messages. There are really times that I feel down and empty, I feel no one understands what I've been through but there is one thing we can do to cast those feelings away. We need to talk to Him, ask Heavenly Father for comfort and peace. I personally testify that He is there, He listens, and He really loves us so much. Through prayer I can have the peace and comfort that I want in life. Sometimes we may feel that He is far away but trust me He will be there when we call unto Him. Trust in His plan and timing. We may not know what future lies ahead of us but surely He knows everything and He is preparing something grand for us. I love Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ so much. I hope we may find peace and comfort in our lives as we get to know Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father more. ❤️

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is gaining more momentum every year. Just like a magnet, as it moves forward it picks up more and more of our Heavenly Hather's children as we get closer to the second coming. This is a very exciting to see. I know the Church is true, I know my Father in Heaven is aware of me and my needs, I know that it is only through HIM and the teachings of our SAvior that I can return Home to HIM. I pray that my husband and that my children and grandchildren and family and love ones can be there together at the time we will all be judged, i pray that we can all attain that Celestial glory which i yearn for so much with all my soul. I pray i can endure to the end..

I like listening to conference on RU-vid because I can set the speed to 1.5 and the speakers sound normal. Am I the only one that finds the speakers talk sooooo slowly? Is this an American thing? Perhaps it is to allow the translators to keep up?
Translation is done in advance. As one who has spoken twice in GC, I have to tell you that, however fast your normal speech might be, something happens when you stand at that microphone, which slows you down. At the technical rehearsal for my first talk (October 2006) I was told that I had gone overtime. When I said that I would speak faster, I was told, “well, you will find you slow down”, which is true. Some of it is from the amount of concentration one applies to ensure you deliver the message as written, without fumbling. Some older members may remember hearing Elder Le Grand Richards, who spoke without punctuation. It was almost one continuous sentence, delivered at speed. He is the only GA I can remember who you had to listen carefully if you were to keep up. One’s mouth also dries up rather fast. It’s not as easy as it might seem. And I am Scottish, not American.

I have a conference trivia thing with the youth today, the really helped me review, but I can not find the Sunday afternoon session. Is there one released on the channel?
I got baptized y the first day they were here for me but I moved indio ca to Palm desert California it’s just half hours but the I move to my new place the stop seeing me so I stop going and giving up in everything!!!😢😢😢😢😢

Excellent conference but temple in Russia? After all they’ve done and still doing the Ukraine are you going to build a temple in Russia I just thought it was more pressing matters going on and that was between those countries to ask God to help with that then build temples and the police are trying to destroy other countries
The intent to build a temple in Russia was not a new announcement at this conference, when amidst the current time of conflict. It was announced at. The April 2018 GC, 4 years ago, and why not? We built a temple in East Germany, before the wall came down. In fact, it could be said that it was the building of the temple that helped progress the reunification of Germany, and the collapse of the Soviet Union as it then was. The construction of a temple blesses a land and its people. Elder George Q Cannon, taught, “Every foundation stone that is laid for a Temple, and every Temple completed according to the order the Lord has revealed for his holy Priesthood lessens the power of Satan on the earth, and increases the power of God and godliness, moves the heavens in mighty power in our behalf, invokes and calls down upon us the blessings of the eternal Gods, and those who reside in their presence.” as evil continues to spread across the earth, like a toxic rash, the construction and dedication of a temple acts as a spiritual antidote. so, the prospect of a temple in Russia is the best thing that can happen, and why the fact that another 17 temples are to be built, in the locations identified at this conference is a cause for rejoicing, wherever they are. When I served as a missionary in the church, in 1976-8,we had 15 operating temples. Today there are 170 dedicated temples, 8 of which are undergoing some degree of reconstruction. a further 46 are under construction. Adding all that have been announced, but yet to begin construction will bring the total number to 282. Now, think about Elder Cannon’s statement. Every one lessens the power of Satan on the earth. One temple in Russia is a wonderful prospect, but there will undoubtedly be more, many more; it is not a small country, and they are desperately needed. Roll on the rest. Every country needs such an oasis of peace, and in multiple locations. As President Russell M Nelson so powerfully taught at this GC, it is the spread of the Gospel of Peace that brings the best prospect for peace on the earth. He spoke of letting God prevail in our own lives, in building spiritual momentum in our ow lives, in our own homes, and in our own communities. There was a repeated clarion call for more full-time missionaries, from President Nelson and President Ballard in particular. Personal conversion, making and keeping covenants, eradicating personal conflicts, building spiritual momentum, missionary service, and the work done in holy temples all work together to lead us, and the peoples of the world to Christ, who is the Prince of Peace.
It's the country's leaders that are wicked. The people suffer. Also Ukraine is living under a communist regime and has for years. Zelensky is a dictator.
A conversation with Deity merits a more elevated style of address than would usually be the case. It also helps to frame our thoughts in a specific way. The use of these sacred pronouns also follows the example given by the Saviour, in “The Lord’s Prayer”, and responds to his counsel, “After this manner therefore, pray ye”. Most traditional Christian denominations interpret this as a directive to repeat it word for word. Whilst that is undoubtedly better than not praying at all, prayer is most effective when it is personal, and we express our own thoughts and feelings. So, as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, we are encouraged to utter more personal expressions, acknowledging our relationship with Heavenly Father, in words of reverence and respect, express gratitude, and request help that we or others may need, closing in the name of Jesus Christ. That is our interpretation of “after this manner…”. You will notice that we only use these divine pronouns in prayer, when quoting scripture, but not in our everyday conversation, or when giving talks.

Personally I feel it's got a lot to do with the language used in common translations of the Bible and other scriptures, for example the King James Bible. Since that kind of language is strongly associated with the experience of reading scripture and spiritual messages, using it for prayers or in talks like this is a way for people to bring that same feeling.
That is how we respect to our father by using these words thy ,thee ,thou, thine those are the words that we have to be use in showing respect to our God
