Saturday Afternoon Session | April 2023 General Conference 

I was blessed to be at the conference center that day. The Sacred Spirit was strong as usual. I am a personal witness of this great work and a wonder, but mostly and more importantly I testify of my Beloved Savior and Redeemer, JESUS CHRIST, HE LIVES!

We have such wonderful talks this year

Thank you, thank you thank you thank you thank you! I wish there was a way I could say thank you to Elder Uchtdorf for that wonderful message about being a parent. I know with absolute certainty that, although that message was meant for many parents, there were things that he said that I know only myself, and the Lord would have known those words when I speak to him and I pray for help as a father. You see, I’m separated from my wife, who is the mother of my two teenage boys, and I am struggling so much right now trying to be a good dad and trying to balance my own life and just figure things out and keep my head level above the world which is spiraling out of control right now. I feel so unworthy and so overwhelmed being a single father, even though the mother of my boys is still in the picture. We are constantly at odds with each other about various things. I’ve been away from the church for a long time and I’m trying to make my way back and I just keep getting things thrown in my way. Almost constantly now. I want to set a good example for my sons and I’m trying to overcome my own negativity about everything going on and I just sometimes feel like I’m in over my head. How wonderful the Lord is and how he speaks to us in such subtle small ways something I told my children is that the Lord does not work through floods he works through raindrops, and when I heard Elder Uchtdorf mention this, I just broke down and cried. I can see the evil all around us now and I’m trying to stay positive and keep focusing on Christ that bright beacon upon the hill but sometimes it’s so easy to lose faith in a world, so filled with stormy seas and dark skies. so many things are lining up now, and I am so grateful that the spirit still comes to me and teaches me things because I don’t feel worthy. I’m working on it though. I’m praying and I’m repenting and I’m trying to do better every day. I have a terrible temper and I’m trying to keep that under control. I want so much to be a good example for my sons, better than my father was to me. The talk by Elder Uchtdorf in this session was exactly what I needed to hear in every way. My heart belongs to the Lord, my God, and everything else I am yes he is as well, I only ask that as his child, he helped me walk a straight and narrow path and be a better example for my children who were his son’s first so that all of us can be together, eternally, and be reunited again. From myself all the way back to father, Adam and our father in heaven. I doubt elder who Dorf will ever see this message, but I will make sure that I am on my knees this evening, thanking heavenly father and the Lord for remembering me, and sending this message to me to give me hope and strengthen me.

So grateful to have access to genral conference no matter where we are. ❤

Sat afternoon session makes you realize just how organized and accounted for the church is by the Savior. Because of it, the church has become a spiritual/material juggernaut that has swept the world in a very brief time. Great stuff.

I wished I heard this message when my children were growing up I’m a great grandmother now and I’m helping to raise our two little great granddaughters so you inspiring message is a blessing . Thank you Elder Uchtdorf

Thank you to the BYU choir, who sang so beautifully and with such great sincerity and brought such a sweet spirit to this session. I had the privilege of singing with the BYU choir at a session of conference in April 1982. Those sweet memories come back to me everytime I hear a BYU choir singing at conference.

Loved this session, and all the others. The choir was particularly amazing! I'm so very grateful for being able to watch these sessions online and that they're kept online immediately after. I love to rewatch these sessions.

I am so thankful that the gospel was restored and knowing that Jesus Christ is alive and never abandoned me on these lo g years of trails in my life.

This whole General Conference is so heavenly inspired, I'm amazed. 1:38:23 I needed to hear these words. I know that Jesus Christ leads personally His Church, which bears His name, and all of His servants at the General Conference center are inspired to talk, teach and minister us all around the world with the words we need to hear - the things we need to know - from Him. Jesus Christ lives and knows the thoughts of our hearts and is always willing to heal us, if we ask humbly Him to.

I am so thankful for technology. I can feel the love & spirit of all who speak. The music is so beautiful from this young choir. I gain a stronger testimony after every General Conference. I love the Gospel!

Prophet Nelson

I was not born with, nor developed the self confidence I needed to make the things in my Patriarchal Blessing happen. It's only been a source of disappointment and confusion for me.

My patriarchal blessing did a lot more harm than good in my life, so it's hard for me to hear messages about how great patriarchal blessings are. I think there is risk in making life-altering decisions based on a document that is not necessarily inspired.
