Well, I came to say how much I love the mirror and to maybe paint it black, but I see that has been said many times, LOL! The black would coordinate so nicely with the flanking light fixtures, the chandelier, and your kitchen chairs. Love your cozy furbabies. My house is already all decked out for Easter and spring. I hope your friends treasure you. Good friends are very rare these days. I really don't have any except for my husband who is my best friend and my dog Laurel who is my best girlfriend and buddy and sooo very thankful for the both of them. I love my cozy little family every time I think of them I just smile...LOL You have a special bond with some nice ladies the way it looks and good for you. We bought one with us from our 1896 home to our new home (which is a farmhouse style very similar to the one Amy Fritz is building.) You have such great taste, whatever you do will be beautiful! Love the mirror and think it is perfect in size and style. It reflects light bringing mire light into the room. Its shape reminds me of the mirror to my grandma’s antique bureau.
I usually leave my Valentines decor up until the last day in February. I think the mirror is perfect! If you paint it, do it in black. It does add a touch of romance to your farmhouse.

I like the idea of paining the mirror frame with a color from your home…. Like a dark green …. And leaving the floral piece at the top, but toning it down with a bronze…. That way the green matches your plants and florals, and the darker bronze would mimic your wood tones.

I always forget one thing when I put away my decor. I took an Elvis ornament that plays I’ll be home for Christmas off my tree. My four year old grandson kept playing it. So I took it off. And I knew I put it somewhere. I found it on my dresser. And it’s still there. I looked all over the house. But not my bedroom. I don’t decorate much. Christmas is about it. I do have Halloween decor. I do have a nice wreath for spring and summer for my front door. And I have a fall and Christmas one. That’s about it for me. I used to decorate for everything when my girls were little. But this house is so small without much storage. So I have had to pare it down. I still need some greenery for a crock I have. I put some tulips I had in my living room in it. I love your house and your decor. It’s so light and airy there.

I also like a fully decorated home. I have a similar mirror that my husband gifted me (on our first Mother's Day together) from an antique store, which I LOVE. I think yours would be pretty painted black. I also have a cake stand that I love to display. I picked it up at TJ Maxx. It's a wood base with a glass top. The glass top has metal acorns and leaves, and I think it's just SO pretty! Three of us in our house have fall birthdays, so it comes in handy. Thanks for another great Sunday Reset!

I think a mirrored window pane would look great on the mantle and the current mirror would look great in your bedroom or your bathroom. Since your bathroom has more of an upscale spa feel and the living room is a more cozy and relaxed shared space.

I've been enjoying your videos, especially the espresso drink suggestions. The fabric of your table runner is called ticking. It's the fabric pillows were made of back in the day. Burlap is a more rustic rough fabric.

Love your videos I agree with the other commentators to paint it black. If you want the old vintage look, use rub and buff antique gold around the mirror.
Hi Tiffany! I love the mirror however I think an antique window mirror would look better in that space. Maybe put the gold mirror in your bedroom or guest room.
A little fancy is OK. I have a separate formal dinning room, we put in a antique stained glass window in the wall . I have rose toile curtains & matching chair covers in there and a teacup & teapot rose picture. But, it is also Farmhouse. I have a windmill on the wall, have a farmhouse sign on barn wood, have milk cans, also I have blue enamel teacups as tie backs for my window. So you can have both a little fancy and farmhouse, etc. in the same room. You are correct when you say a person can decorate how they want. I have already decorated for Easter/spring. Need to buy a little more décor as it's very sparse. I display faux donuts in a cloche on my antique stove yr. round as well as other fake foods, breads muffins. pies, tarts, cakes & fruits.
I am in agreement with black or a black rub. If able, maybe see if the ornate piece on the top is removable. That way, you can re-add if the mood changes. I really enjoy watching your channel. You have been a great inspiration. Currently in process of changing most of my storage to clear bins!!
