Give some love to that bassist. Steady as an atomic clock and funky as yesterdays socks at the same time! He carved out fills and runs while staying tight and true inside the pocket. Respect! If you are only listening to this on a phone you aren't hearing what's there on the low end. Play it through decent speakers or you is missing out!

America has been never been greater as Sturgill's sound exemplifies. He not only incorporates so much music born from generations of different (and many struggling, unrecognized) american artists and cultural genres, but he has taken all of those influences to an amazing and original level. Original in terms of combining musical sophistication, frenetic pace, and melody. His flat-out irreverence to adhering to any one particular style is pretty cool too.

The most gifted musician/songwriter/singer/composer in decades.

That Tele deserves a spot in the Rock n' Roll hall of fame. I've never heard that much noise come outta one guy and his ax before, holy crap! I love Sturgill, can't believe the junk "they" call country music with this kinda amazing music out there!
