I would say keep in the band for a bit because she will get better, give her encouragements and constructive criticism - keep helping her improve because she will - I've seen leaders improve hugely over a year - she might just need confidence. but if you still find it hard in a whiles time, then it might be right to leave

As a youth band worship leader I think you should pray and do what God tells you to do. If you feel like you need a break then take one. You can't continually pour into into others without being poured into yourself sometimes. I think you should also give her time. It's not easy being the leader of a band. It comes with a lot of pressure. You should try to encourage her, just because you're not ready for something doesn't mean you can't handle it. Let's be real here, she's 16. She probably lacks experience and maturity but she can learn and succeed. Just give it time, she might just need awhile to get comfortable before she can become the leader that your band and youth group needs.
