Excellent day, you have some brilliant memories in this video, There won't be many people with fan video footage before, during and after the game!! Like gold dust to a Millwall fan!! 20 years next year!! 😮
Luvly day-really proud, though my pals nearly lost there lives driving back(all ok). Frank Harper’s dad ( Dave) played 8 years for the lions( all magic)🦁
Stayed in a hotel for the weekend of the game and some Sunderland supporters were mouthing off we couldn't sell all our tickets had to explain to them in a very friendly manner that is the police that stop Millwall selling tickets to anyone apart from members and season tickets holders otherwise we would have done. Saw them after the game at the hotel we couldn't stop laughing at them big club my arse beaten by little old Millwall
@@redflag8970how ? Sunderland have a longer history than Millwall. Sunderland should have been one of the founder members of the football league but were refused because apparently it was too far north for other teams to travel. Sunderland eventually were allowed to join two seasons later and slaughtered everyone they played including the so called invincibles that was Bolton Wanderers. Dont get me wrong cos I love Millwall but I'm a Sundetland fan. My mam and her fam are all Millwall from Bermondsey and other parts of south London, my Dad is a Mackem and so am I born and raised so I support Sunderland where I was born n raised but I hold both clubs close to my heart. And we are not all mouthy bastards most Mackems are class lads and we are one of the most passionate sets of fans you could find. Better than those plastic black n white cunts up the road from us. Sunderland v Newcastle scum is just as venomous as Millwall v Westham scum. Millwall deserved it that day, we were shit but was happy that one of us made it to Wembley. No one likes me when I shout for Millwall playing other teams but just like my dear old mam says, We Dont Care we are Millwall bless her. Fuck the mags and fuck the ICF...who are ya ?
@@michaelharrison3602you obviously dont know much about English history. Sunderland was the biggest ship building town in the world. More ships were built on the wear in Sunderland than anywhere else in the world, we played a major role in winning WW2 and British army honoured the city of Sunderland recently because more people from Sunderland join the armed forces than from anywhere else in UK. Even our coal miners were sent to the frontline and were not even trained soldiers. They were sent to the frontline trenches in both world wars to dig tunnels to go under enemy lines then plant explosives to blow fuck out of the German bastards. Gotta respect that. Haway the Lads. History lesson over, hope you learnt something. All the best to yer.
