I used to be like this. Worked in a dead end job and had no friends and a social life. Now I'm 27 and I'm in medical school training to be a doctor with a new lease on life. It is still a challenge to live every day but I get by, with the help of my faith and other factors. Don't worry about life that much and keep your chin up!

Im 28 and i only recently got to the point where im starting to figure things out. It took me moving countries 2 times, i even was homeless for a bit. I was living with my parents on and off until i was 25. To anybody out there, just take your time and go at your own pace. Youll get there in the end. Dont let others or society pressure you to do things you dont want to do. It will all end up fine in the end. Dont go chase happiness in a place you wont find it because you feel pressured to conform. I tried conforming more then once do what others expected of me and i always ended up back at my parents and unhappy. Now i moved and had a good time i found someone when i didnt even want to and settled down even though i didnt expect to. It just kind of happened and im happier for it that i went on my own pace instead of racing down trying to do what others wanted from me.

Was recently released from a six month stay at a mental hospital, im almost 20 now, celebrated 19 in the hospital. And now that im out everyone is kinda expeecting me to start planning my future, but honestly im still trying to plan my lunch while lunch is activley happening. I’m 24 and this song is genuinely the story of my life. At this point though, I’ve just come to accept the fact that it will remain this way forever. Not because it’s helpless, but because literally every single one of my actions that I’ve committed to in the past have gotten me to this point in life. I only have myself to blame, but it’s not all that bad. I’m living life working and doing the things that I’ve always wanted to do while still living with my parents, so. Perhaps I’ll move out in a few years, but we’ll see.

I'm 20 and a half and this song itself has been me since I was 18, since I graduated from high school. I thought by then I would've already figured out everything and that I wouldn't miss out on anything, but it turns out I still haven't figured out anything and I missed out on so much when I was younger. So many missed opportunities to have a job and make my dreams come true and so many things I wish I knew sooner. I don't even know my purpose or where I belong or whether I should just give up or not. I'm still living at my parents' house sick and tired of trying to put effort into doing anything because I've screwed up everything already and I'm just gonna keep on screwing up no matter how hard I try. Nothings gonna change if nothings gonna change so if you wanna break that anchored part of your life you must take the risk of losing yourself than being yourself and losing everything around you. Would you want a life that's so unfair? Like going to a reunion with your old classmates back in highschool, barely recognizing everyone while yourself is still recognizeable after those very long years. If your afraid to even make the slightest move because of the fear of losing yourself then I think that's the reason why your life hasn't been better but it never really gets better, You just learn to live with it. There's a reason why happiness and sadness coexist together it's because you will never feel happiness unless you felt sadness. You need to keep going even if everything doesn't go in your way, that's what will will make you stronger to finally have the strength gained from facing random events happened in your lifetime becomes the reason for breaking free from what's holding us back, and to eventually look back and say "I wish I've done this sooner."
