man pound for pound these are my favorite subs ,its a trip i had two sa 12's and found out one x 12 hits harder and deeper and lower by itself then i had one nsv4 18 and i took it out and put two x12's in and they hit harder deeper and i think either just as low or lower so yea great subs i love them.i have the mechman 370 elite series alt and i called them and they sell this adapter that has a yellow wire on it that you hook up to a 12 volt wire so it comes on when your ignition is on and i have 14.7 pretty much all the time now and i just have a yellow top up front and one in the rear so you have more than i do man.hell im only running one strand of zero gauge wire from the front to the rear,im old school haha been a bass head since 1989 the good ole days god times were so good,i could tell stories lol
Theses are my most expensive subs yet. And i absolutely love them. But im currently back to just a stock lead acid battery because my balancer took a crap😞

I'd like to see under the hood now that you have deleted the lead acid battery. I'd like to see how your wire is run to the back from the alternator.....great job on keeping her going! 🎯
I’d be concerned about the smell make sure it’s not the amp half the time it is, good chance it’s not the subs the x series are great and 2 will eat an 8k all day u shouldn’t be stinking them with that amp unless there’s MAJOR clipping that’ll give off some stink lol
