If I ever get funding, I wanna buy this place and turn it into a small airport, with 2 airstrips, that's private,,with the purpose of developing and marketing methanol/oxidizer powered exhaust recycling rocket motors, and small tokamak fusion powered plasma rockets to the civilian population. I think it would be a good place for it, not necessarily clandestine but not necessarily super broadcasted either, more of a base to establish said technology as existing at all, and then moving forward in the direction of public interest.
I see three things happening if you succeed. One, you do it and do well. Two, you do it and you are bought out. Three, somehow you and the idea disappear. Good luck to you :) Before you remodel, invite me so I can do a video record of the place before it changes :)
Used to sneak here as kids fun place. They just kinda tell ya to get lost if they see you. There’s ponds we fished with the biggest being a 6lb bass in it. Good times. Never stop jumping fences.... or using bolt cutters at the adjacent park *cough* *cough*
I have my doubts. I believe the property is owned privately and there is security that patrols areas still used for something. I am not certain what it might be used for now. Just does not give an atmosphere of wanting the public to know it is there.
