I'm back!
This time with a video that promotes information.
I'm sure that all of you, bbyu fans, have more than once come across phrases like:
"WGM is over"
"Stop deluding yourself."
"In 2020 there are still those who ship Sungjoy?" etc..
Well.. this is a video that contains - in short - many of the reasons why we are still here to believe in sungjoy.
So, skeptics, prepare to be surprised.. because WGM was the beginning, but not the end.
none of the clips present belong to me. if you recognize your clip, tag yourself in the video. I have only put together what in my opinion are the most solid evidence we have on this couple.

It was like sungjae was expressing his feelings after a broke up (not the wgm one... im talking about something more recent) ... im kind of worried about this ship... but i do believe they were together for some years... its just... I dont really feel like they are anymore. I hope they can overcome theyr problems if they have ones.

*my theories on bbyu couple* *Last episode of sungjoy WGM* Joy sang a song to sungjae thats basically saying "Im still a kid but can you wait for me until i became a lady". Take note! before singing that, she told sungjae to listen carefully to the lyrics. Which means, joy is not ready yet. She wants sungjae to wait for her until she is "ready". Thats why she was crying hard that time, she knows that will be the last time they will be together as a couple. In the case of seungjae, i think he really wanted to be with joy, and he is ready and not afraid to be in a relationship(he also said personally that he wants to marry early). But ofc, he knows that joy can't be in a relationship. Cause first of all, Red velvet is still a rookie that time. And joy is still young. But despite this, he still asked joy if it is really over after filming. WHY? cause he still want to know what joy is feeling "that time". So when he heard the song that joy sang, he understood it. After the filming ofc they probably talked. Knowing Sungjae, he probably comforted joy and told her that he will support her in her career. And to cheer up cause he will always be there for joy no matter what. That explains what seungjae told in the interview that they are still comfortable with each other. But being careful cause of haters. *After wgm* this is my own fantasy but ever wonder who is joy's 1st kiss? She told in the interview that kissing in real life is so different in drama. Which means joy's 1st kiss is not on cam. Does it mean she has a bf? then whoooo?. We all know before WGM, Joy didn't have a boyfriend. So its either She had a boyfriend after WGM and experienced kissing or sungjae kissed her offcam after that last episode. Anyways, thats just my fantasy created by my curiosity. Please ignore it. Fast forward, when Joy suprised Sungjae via video message. Joy described their relationship in the video that they have "sister and brother relationship" but in the end. She told them that she realized "it is more than that" and that sungjae probably thought of her as "special". With that alone, something probably happened behind the scenes that made her say that. And boi, i dont know what happened Since joy is not afraid saying that oncam lets assume that they are "not yet" together. Fast forward again, BTOB guested on a show where joy is one of the mc. You can see that they are sooo uncomfortable. Sungjae is better at hiding his uncomfort but you can clearly see sooyoung being uncomfortable. But why would they be uncomfortable to each other? Sungjae said they didn't see each other after WGM. But that contradicted to what Joy said at the video message. So, why? i think after wgm. They only talked to each other for a while but then lost contact so they are now uncomfortable to each other. Which explains BTOB "missing you" and all members teasing sungjae in every possible time. And then Fitz happened. I think this is where they become close again. Im not sure if they are together now. But i can say that Sungjae didnt move on. From 2016 to now, He is showing us how he misses someone. He is also mentioning indirectly his memories of them together during wgm. So to those who are saying that joy loved him more that he loves her. You guys are wrong. Sungjae fell in love sincerely. Yes at the start, he is acting and joy is being honest. But he grew fond of joy over time. He started loving her more but didnt realized it. And when he realized it at the end. WGM ended, thats why he cant move on. Like what joy said, sungjae cant escape from her. personally, i support them together and individually. If they dated someone else, ill be happy for them. I just want them to be happy. And if ever they are dating right now, i dont want dispatch to reveal their relationship because im still waiting for a drama together. I hope they act as a couple in the future. Their chemistry will be daebak! edit: guys, sooyoung is dating someone now. Lets all be happy for her. But ofc i will be forever loyal to sungjae. Sungjoy couple will always be in my hearts. There's a lot coincidence and a lot of hints especially from joy! I remember one of her instagram post, it was a photo when she's in jeju island with a caption "jeju island 💚💙" and i feel like that's a hint! And also in 2017 and 2018, i think someone already commented about this, but it was a video? Like a btob video (i'm not a part of the fandom, sorry) and i can totally hear joy's and wendy's voice in the background!!!! I'm a reveluv so i can tell that was their voices!! So to sum up, i think they did break up after wgm, because in the last episode of wgm, joy said that she's not prepared enough to have a serious relationship and she wants sungjae to wait for her. But, sungjae is actually the one who really wants to continue the relationship even right after the program ends, if we look at the lyrics, it said that he wants joy to hug and stay with him. I think that's a very important clue. And then fast forward to 2018, i think they become closer and start the relationship in 2018. Because like what i just said, the clue is : that btob video and also a fancam where they were in an award show(?) and they keep trying to look at each other even tho they are far from each other. And another strong hint is when ilhoon saying "umpah umpah" randomly when there's a notification, and then, when ilhoon said "congratulations for your marriage", it was SO RANDOM but it was such a strong hint. And then 2020, i don't need to mention it again, but Come with the wind really reminds us of their story. I know that it wasn't just all about sungjoy, but i'm sure that joy is involved in the song, esp when you look at the lyric "a gift that came back to me" as you all probably knew, they always talk about gift in wgm! "Gift" is something that was mentioned a lot by them back then! Like in their first meeting, joy gives a surprise to sungjae and she said "the gift is me" to sungjae, and then, when they were in a beach, when sungjae asked to joy, what does she think of 2015? And then joy said that, "2015 is a gift for me", she explained the gifts are : red velvet winning in music show, red velvet finally release an album, and also meeting sungjae. She said sungjae is her gift. And also in the last episode, she said that sungjae is a precious gift to her! 💖 So joy mentioned gift a lot in the program and even their first meeting is about a gift 🥺

Another fact: - Sungjae used to be not that active on instagram, but then when Joy opens her Instagram account, he became soo active. The funny thing is both Sungjae and Joy always post a photo one after another. Like when Joy upload her photo Sungjae would also upload his photo, and when Sungjae upload a photo first, Joy would also follow him to post something. But when a lot of people realize this, Sungjae back to him that rarely post a pic on insta. - Before Sungjae solo is out, Joy always make her post 3 photo in one post, then 2 photo in one post, and then Sungjae solo 3x2=6 is out - some time ago Joy always wear the same bracelet on several events and it turns out that bracelet is from baidu sungjoy bar - there are a post in Joy instagram where she use blue outfit and give blue heart caption and then sungjae also post his photo with green shirt ;) 💙💚 - and you guys really need to check sungjae recent song called come with the wind. Cause the MV really look a like SUNGJOY!

Joy is such a dream girl, she's compatible with a lot of guys. That's why you can see a lot of ships with her name on it, but for me SungJoy will be the strongest and realest ship among them. Also, i think all of his solos in the album are based on his feelings for Joy. Come to think of it, his 3x2 = 6 solos are actually some kind of light novel. It has chronological clock to it. In fact his songs are all very symbolic of season, Winter being the cold, desolate season the reminded him of his breaking up with Joy and spring a renewal of sorts. I think it's really his and Joy's love story (told by his perspective). His first set seemed to be the prologue. Both had the theme of a breaking up with the loved one and he told us how they couldn't be together. From Winter also had this kind of vibe on it. It described his initial feeling of the outbreak. I think separated here means a lot. It's not like Sungjae and Joy didn't love each other, but their agencies separated them. (I would say SM played the most part because it seemed that it's actually Joy that dumped him at first). His second set seemed to be the intermediary, it told us how to 'cope' with the breakup. In W.A.U he lamented the breakup by listening to her favorite playlist alone and saying life is not like a movie. His Chicken song had a happy tune, but i think it hides a darker side. It has some kind of coping mechanism. The Chicken here doubles as a 'person' (role model) and food. An analogy that he learned from Chicken (i think this is also Joy) on how to life and adjust. He used the phrase san eun bop. Many shippers think this is from a Tae Joo's poem that described the only way to live was to think about her (Joy). His third set is some kind of reconciliation. He definitely didn't brood as much as the two songs but i think this describes on his feelings and actions after the breakup. HMHN had that very odd digress that i think speak loud of Joy. The song was depressing until a very odd lyric came : 'It's gonna be mine oh mine, I.O.Y.' I think that described that despite his depression after the break up, he was also determined to take her back. This is i think what BtoB do in 2016. Even the normally passive RV seemed to play along with BtoB once. BtoB was very adamant in leaking their relationship to the public at that year. Hypnotized also has this kind of lyrics. His lyrics said that even the 'leaves changed', he will always stay at the same place. (Meaning he will always wait for Joy to come back.) And his CWTW is an epilogue, the coming of spring as in new hope. Here we have the answers from his previous songs. The girl (Joy) did come back to him. But i think this is also hinting that Sungjae and the girl has some kind of Long-Distance-Relationship with Sami acting as the girl's reminder (like Jennie's dog named Kai). But this song is a declaration that he will never forget their memories even as he went (or Joy went) somewhere. Maybe this also had connotations with the present where he will go to the military service. So it's like a parting gift also. You could say his song's lyrics all connected. I won't go in detail here, because i'm too lazy to elaborate it all. Yes, all of this actually STRONGLY pointed all to Joy. His CWTW answered whom he was talking about in the past albums. I think Sungjoy is very likely real at this point. It's going to be odd if they have no relationship anymore since this had to be passed by both SM and CUBE.

And we all know how genius Sungjae is when it comes to song titles and double meaning lyrics. I believe your theory is right. Because Sungjae is a lowkey genius music producer. Tbh this is one of the only couples based off of actual evidence and not just delusions. People don’t look into the facts. Instead they just compare it to every other rumored couple. Time will tell though. Excellent video 👏

This is the best video on youtube, I sometimes felt distrubed when someone said that during wgm, joy love subgjae more than sungjae love her, and theres also someone said that joy had a one sided love, but if u watch wgm and pay more attention on detailed things, i think sungjae really really love her, as much as she does or maybe even more than joy does - sungjae is a really deep person and he said that he cant express thing well, deep person cant fall in love easily, but they also cant forget the one they love easily too (watch wgm ep 314 when they ate jokbal, when they tell their memorable moment in summer, sungjae said its when their first meeting; its a sign that hes a deep person) - Sungjae is a really detailed person, and he also a person that rlly obsessed about something with hidden meaning (for example number 6 (yook)) He also said that he’s sentimental person, [if u watch wgm wheres sungjae and joy visit museum u will know why] -when sungjae prepared an event for joy (ep 36/311 if im not mistaken) he really prepared it for 3 MONTHS, and the idea is from HIMSELF. Its not a mission from WGM, and that’s mean that Sungjae prepared the event with HIS OWN budget and idea. He really care about detailed things, “i love you” cake, joy name that aranged from candles, sungjae and joy pict, candy, piano, surprise event at basement, etc - when sungjae give a surprise event for joy at basement (unaired ep) eunkwang (wgm panelist) was shooked and explained that made an event is really not sungjae’s style - when sungjae sing “ I love you “ for joy, changsub and hyunsik also look surprised, changsub jokingly said that sungjae totally lose his mind that day, but i think its not just a joke lmao. And if u saw the unaired ep when sungjae sing this song, u will see the sincere inside of him and again, sungjae’s ears dont lie, at the end u can see how red they are. (He said that he cant express thing well so he express his feeling with song)

Joy is typical of straight forward girl. She will say she likes it if she likes it. Otherwise, sungjae more likely someone who has hard time to express himself. the show was fake but all those things that happened to them. it's not something that you just can say "fake" because we all know, at some moment, they were starting to get real. what happened between them, it was all real. they shared something real. that's why even until now, this ship isn't still sinking. but if someday, they'll find someone and start dating. i will be happy genuinely and will still support them. because at some point, they made me believe that love knows no time and right place. if you feel it, oh boy, you just do! i really wish they will have a drama in the future. i would really love that. bbyu♥︎

tbh, i’ve never shipped any idol with another idol THIS INTENSE. not only was sungjoy super cute, but they also taught sum of us fans important keys to a relationship. NEVER say that sungjoy isn’t real because a person doesn’t look at a person the way sungjae looks at joy..

Sungjae has this song titled "Tell me" and it was released last 2017. The lyrics.. everything about that song tells about bbyu's break up. How Sungjae misses Sooyoung and how hard it was for him. You can even listen to it rn and tell me I'm wrong. Then this year, They released the song "Come with the wind". This is a strange strong for all the bbyu shippers. The music video and the lyrics. There's a part of the lyrics that said, "you who came back to me", it's questionable for us. Sungjae told everyone that the girl in the MV represents melodies. But melodies never leave him or even BtoB, so I don't think that girl really represents melody.

What people don’t realise is that this series went on for a while, of course if they both have the same type they will start catching feelings and that’s exactly what happened. The ending of their series really shows that joy wasn’t faking her cry, you can tell it was genuinely real and Sungjae was holding his tears back. They really both fell for each other. You cant make a series like this and expect them not to fall for each other. There are things called feelings.... I really hope they are together.

I don’t think they are - and I’m not sure they ever actually dated or Dispatch def would’ve come out with it at this point - but I really wish they were. I think the honest truth is they both did catch feelings and coincidentally RV got huge after the show (Joy in particular) so she had no time for dating, so Sungjae was kinda left on sidelines with no opportunities to really ask her out. Not to mention given RV’s busy schedule & SM’s reputation I’m sure the company wouldn’t really allow it or at least didn’t encourage it. They knew Joy’s their money ticket and that with upcoming film gigs and increasing CFs dating anyone - especially another singer from a show she was on - would jeopardize her position. Bc if they did date, then when people watch her acting on other dramas or doing press interviews with her costars they will say “Oh well you can tell she’s dating Sungjae bc these two have no chemistry” or “No wonder she’s dating Sungjae. There’s nothing between these two here.” So having her single and without scandal is important for her brand and image as a famous singer and an actress. It’s also important from another business standpoint: scheduling. The less time she has to date or see a bf, the more time she has to focus on work and land gigs. And “stay focused” as the asshole CEOs would say - esp SM. Lastly, I’m not sure that when she was on WGM she was even contractually allowed to date at all? I know their dating ban is over now but idk about back then... So that might’ve been another reason things never panned out. Bc by the time ban was over too much time had passed between them so dating wouldn’t be possible anymore. But honestly I still think the real reason is not a dating ban. I think it’s bc of Joy & RV’s increasingly busy schedule after the show. I mean its no doubt that their group became more famous after 2015/16 and that Joy’s fandom grew exponentially as she turned more and more into a mature woman & talented actress. Meanwhile although BTOB is successful and Sungjae is an amazing actor/singer it’s not even comparable. (I mean I think he & the group are WIDELY underrated so don’t get me wrong - I think it’s really unfair/sad.) So it’s no surprise to me that while Sungjae has been rumored to have dated & had gfs since then, Joy hasn’t. It’s bc he’s had time to and his company has been more lax since there’s less eyes on him, while Joy barely has time to breathe with a packed schedule and SM’s notoriously strict eyes watching and monitoring her. Point is, that’s why I think Sungjae wasn’t lying on that variety show when he says he hasn’t met with her since WGM bc she’s been so busy (he said they’ve both been busy but the implication was clear after she laughed and said “No, no, it’s not like that.. I’ve just been too busy” You can see she felt bad and that he wasn’t wrong.) But I don’t think this is for a lack of feeling: I think it’s very obvious on the show that she started to have real feelings for him. I think his feelings were slower to develop (much more like “Lets have fun, it’s a show!” & “Oh this girl is different/strange haha but maybe we can be friends”) but at the end he thought he would miss her as a little sister since they truly got close but then looking back he realizes he truly had feelings beyond that for her. With dudes sometimes it takes a sec, and Sungjae is def the funny immature playful type so I’m sure it didn’t really hit him till after, that maybe he liked her as more than just a close “noona.” I think as he started dating other idols he realized even more how special and unique their time & connection was. He started missing her and regretting his actions even more as years went by, but worried it was too late now and too far gone. That’s why I do believe the song “Come With the Wind” is about Joy. A part of me does believe it might be delulu & far fetched, but another part really does see all the hints and similarities people have picked up on. Still, I’m not denying that it could be a coincidence and fans have gone nuts from lack of content haha. But I dunno, I really do think that unfortunately they never dated or Dispatch wouldve come out w it at this point. I know some people think it was kept a secret from fan backlash but that’s not true bc at this point the Bbyu fandom is larger than any antis. So that’s def not the reason at all. And I don’t think it’s that they were good at hiding it/dating in secret bc I really don’t think Joy had any time to date at all between her schedule as RV member and recurring actress. That’s an overwhelming schedule, so I think that’s the real answer. But I do think Sungjae’s heart is still with her but he feels it’s too late now and that she’s too popular for him/he missed his chance. As for Joy idk. On the show it was easy to read her feelings but it’s been more difficult since then bc she has so little freedom and is not allowed to freely express herself in song or on social media. So it’s tough to know how she feels. I think she did truly like him on the show towards the end but didn’t think it was reciprocated. I think she was insecure and in her heart felt he didn’t see her in a romantic way but as a protective older brother. (And I think he was giving her those signs bc that is how he thinks he felt at the time.) And now I just think she’s too busy so it’s not on her mind as much. I think she’s “moved on” but still holds a soft spot for him in her heart. Like a fond memory of her innocence and when she was less busy and could be more herself. She just thinks he never reciprocated her feelings and since he never REALLY reached out in a romantic way after the show she thought they are just friends. And then as years went by, that fizzled too. (on her end.) But I do think she wants a love life and I do wish that for her bc I just want to see her happy. I think being successful can only bring you so much joy as an idol, you know? I think time to have a partner and feel normal is just as important. But personal time is a luxury not many idols are afforded, sadly... Sorry, this was like an essay. I’m really sorry for such a long rant. Just wanted to express my hypothesis based on facts I see. I do wish they could come together at some point in future and give each other a chance, bc I think they are so well suited and had something special. And it’s a shame not to give smth you want a shot just bc you didn’t have time before. Truth is Sungjae, it may feel awkward, but it’s never too late! And sometimes its worth at least taking the shot. But if they don’t end up dating someday, then I just hope they’re happy w whoever they choose and that they find someone great! I read a comment somewhere and I also believe it. They have been dating for awhile now and even after Sungjae revealing so much about his love for Joy (like the one about poem and phone call etc.), there hasn’t been any news released about them (apart from the Yook album relating to Joy). It’s probably because Sungjae has a strong influence and connection and he has been protecting Joy and their relationship all this while. Just like the way he’s hasn’t revealed much about his family. Honestly this couple seems like they are made for each other. Normally wgm couples are paired up only after interviewing about their ideal types and stuff. But Sungjae was not interviewed because PD nim was so amazed when he saw Sungjae. She was like "He was made for Joy" so she didn't bother to interview him. But just imagine if he was interviewed ?? Become bbyu shipper since day 1, these past 6 year I always believe that maybe sungjae and joy will announce their relationship someday at the right time.. I just wanna share something to you in order to release my sadness, I think before she with crush, she always love sungjae. Her variety like pajamas friend and get it beauty whenever she asked about her ideal type she always say someone who is cute but sexy, look rought outside but soft inside. As bbyu shipper, isn't we easly point out that was sungjae? That was on 2019 back then. Until not long time ago on jessi interview when joy asked about her ideal type guy, she said that someone who sweet and nice (after hearing that i was like hm she change her ideal type but since sungjae was nice and sometimes sweet i still think it was sungjae, but after dating news broke up I understand why her answer changed and I assume that she already move on from sungjae at that time). When she said day by day is her fav song, i always saw many shipper think it was sungjae but if i looked back that was never related anymore with sungjae, even joy solo album (although we never ever know what really happen between sungjae n joy). I always follow their journey but i think maybe they ever dated and already try their best to each other. Sungjae is someone who has a great wall in everything he do, always think and being sooo careful with his action and joy someone who try her best to understand sungjae (base on wgm 6 year ago). If i looked back at wgm episode there are so many times joy happy if sungjae lead her manly, but most of time is joy who lead sungjae (although sungjae try his best to match with joy type as manly and expressive person). Ever u think that maybe as time goes, they try to be couple, try their best to match each other than realized that they can't be together because the different of their love language and having different love language is a hard thing to accept to make a relationship last long with their busy schedule and idol life? Many of you disappointed with this situation (although is normal to us as bbyu shipper). But how if sungjae that give up first on joy after try his best? Or with this dating news, how if joy give up on sungjae first after try her best? Will we happy if they become couple but not feeling happy toward each other? But again we never know the real story that happen right, all from our imagination 😔 I think this situation are their best, I'm so glad that sungjae joy meet at wgm, two of them are really good person and kind hearted person, they give impact and learn about each other. Even in the end they just meet to gave a lesson not final destination. Crush such a good man, he seems like joy first. All i hope is he will take care, take responsibility and lead joy well in their relationship. And when sungjae practicing love pain choreo, right after Ilhoon randomly sang umpah umpah, he immediately did the wrong moves after doing so well earlier. I think Sungjae and his agency decided to make the reaction video to explain and to clear some things because the netizens are dragging Joy's name again. It's actually pretty amazing how are they really connected to each other even with the tiniest things. SJ loves fishing/fishes while SY's name means swimming in korean. SJ's name means star in korean and SY really loves night time. SJ really loves number 6 while SY's birth month is september which is the 9th month and if you'll gonna flip 9 it would turn to 6. SY looks a bit like SJ's mom and SJ is pretty similar to SY's dad. And the most fascinating thing is before WGM, they're totally different but when they met each other they slowly became similar to each other. I mean, that only happens to real married couples who are deeply in love to each other. "Becoming one" is pretty hard to achieve and it takes a very long time. They have too many similarities that I keep on wondering if they are a reincarnation of a twin siblings, or they are great lovers in their past lives. If I didn't know that wgm is a reality show, I would think that it was just a drama or some kind of fictional and all about them from their personalities up to their personal profiles and background was all planned. There's too many reasons to hold on to this ship so I will keep holding onto it.

Couldn't agree more. BBYU couple felt so real that I just can't let go of them. And the variety shows (one of them visit) sometimes inserts things about the other. I just can't help but hope they will be together in the future if not now (because there selfish fans who wants tgeir idol to be single). Can't imagine myself if either one of them is in a relationship with other people otger than bbyu. BBYU FOREVER

they’re such a perfect couple ☹️ like i seriously would not mind if they were together. they genuinely looked happy with each other. other fans need to understand that if having a significant other makes them happy then so be it. why should idols be unhappy just because their fans don’t like something they do ? idols should be free to do and love whoever they want, they’re humans too, they have feelings just like the rest of us.
