It all depends on how well the public receives it - for example jihyo and daniel have pretty much only ever had positive response from all fans individually, so they did together as well. Momo and heechul are a bit more controversial because of their age gap (and heechuls quite outspoken lol), but compared to the past they’ve still been pretty well recieved. The twice girls also had already moved past their three year dating ban (their partners not having one either) and reportedly confessed that their relationship is pretty recent. Hyuna and Edawn were extremely controversial because 1) they lied to the company when asked and said they weren’t dating and then independently confirmed their relationship to fans, 2) They were dating for years already and didn’t confess, giving the impression they ‘lied’ to fans, 3)honestly i think it’s a bit hard for people in korea to fathom a veteran idol together with a rookie, especially if the veteran is a girl, i think it gave her this ‘cougar’ image and since shes already constantly labelled a slut i dont think this boded well. I love hyuna and edawn but i think their announcement was completely spur of the moment and not done carefully enough - like they were saying something different to what the company was saying. I feel like if they planned this, they could’ve stayed in the company. Anyways sorry for the long post, my point is it really depends on whose dating, the companies dont care as long as the fans dont care and it doesnt go against their contract

I am a granny, and ve watched WGM Sungjoy many times. I could feel that they were both in love with each other at that time. Now is 2019 Aug, I could see that Joy seems to be smiling and laughing more. My gut feeling is that the two seperated after WGM and now back privately dating each other. Hope its not delusion BUT REAL. I just adore this couple. Dating privately is good enough for me as they are still very young. They should consider marriage only when Sungjae finished his military service. Don't want a repeat of SongSong fate. Fighting SUNGJOY. Forever your shipper.

OMG! It's really obvious that they were glancing towards each other. After I watched the WGM I felt "kilig" haha..I was really hoping that this two will end up together. Who's with me? Being these as a couple.
But even during wgm...when they are together at music awards shows it's been like this...not talking to each other but slyly looking from a distance.. 😁
Actually what's interesting is... Even during wgm at the year end 2015 award shows, other than MBC entertainment where they performed Marry You, Sungjae also avoided Joy during the MBC Gayo 2015😬... So his avoiding thing was also a thing during wgm... Like when RV promoted OOTN, Sungjae was MCing but they almost avoid eachother too haha

This is very obvious. I think they're really privately dating in this point. I mean, Joy is practically staring at Sungjae for 5 seconds and Sungjae keep looking at her. Peniel, Hyunsik, and Ilhoon seemed to look at Joy many times too. BTS seemed to know something. Look at V looking down at Sungjae when Jin nudged him. Gfriend seemed to know something too. Look at 3:32 Yuju is looking at Sungjae for a second and followed his gaze. Also, this is the time where Joy changed her signature to look like '6' too and be very specific about her ideal types. I think after Sungjae's rumor with Chaeyeon's DIA she started to become much more territorial. XD Aigoo, Yook, you got yourself a jealous keeper. Hope you are happy. And Dispatch? And not satisfied I've found myself reading all the comments all of the clips of joy and sungjae here and even on Facebook and Instagram..woww..I don't know why Im now addicted to them..it's like kind of magic spell ...
@@theresabernardino2700 I completely understand you hahah. It's like you said, a magic spell, I have no idea of how many hours i spent trying to find clues or understand what's going on .. I got some theories but i might be wrong . I think Sungjae has been deeply in love with someone who dumped him in 2016 and probably throughout all 2017. If you watch variety shows and interviews of Btob it's heavily implied that missing you was inspired from Sungjae experience plus some commentaries about him missing someone. I believe that him was actually also a bit attracted to Joy, but since she was young at that time he didn't take her seriously due to Sungjae personality liking more "experienced" woman. But I feel they have run into each other around 2018 after fitz commercial or something and maybe clicked for real around that time. Im not btob/sungjae fan & im not red velvet/joy fan, im just like kpop music. I just finished marathon all of their episodes at WGM because YT recommends their videos on my homepage, seeing this (especially when they were in SBS gayo daejun 2018, they glanced at each other) I think they keep good communication behind all of us like they were filming WGM (i feel happy if that's true) it's just that they definitely don't want to worried about their fans, although I'm sure 95% of Kpop fans really support their relationship.
