Sunisa Lee (USA) on floor exercise during podium training at the 2019 World Championships in Stuggart, Germany. 2019 Worlds coverage brought to you by Tumbl Trak (www.tumbltrak.com).
Such a gorgeous routine, but if she wants to be in floor finals in Tokyo she needs to upgrade and take advantage of her execution to edge out Jade Carey, and not rely on Jade stumbling in qualifications. I really hope to see her in floor finals, she one of the only gymnasts that has artistry in her routine
@@its._paulette Suni came in second because she had the 4th highest difficulty and the 4th highest execution. The only person besides Simone that has higher difficulty than her is Angelina Melnikova and Liliia Akhaimova and Liliia had poor execution that night and Angelina had only .1 higher on the D score. Suni got in because she is clean while also having good skills. Although if she wants to for sure make floor finals in Tokyo she needs to upgrade her tumbling which she probably has been. This will be an interesting season since they’ve had almost the entire year to upgrade and not worry about any comps that year.
I don’t see a personality in this routine, while it was a SUPERB routine nothing stood out. Especially with that wolf turn combo. It’s like she thinking “okay wolf turn here we go.. WIIIINDD UP MY ARMS AND UMPH!! Okay another one here we go. WIIIND UP, go!” Looks so unnatural and like she had to think about it. Anyone know of a cleaner and smoother running turn combo she could do?
Matthew Lavezzoli I’m not saying you said that. I’m asking you a counter question. When you say she lacks personality is it not perhaps that you are missing the smile? I’m not insulting you in any way it was just a question.
Love Law it felt implied that you thought that my making it a question questioning my reason. But she just needs different choreo like I said at the end she actually felt the music, I need that during the entire entire routine. And that could be possible if they were allowed to breathe in the corner
I’ve seen both your comments and find them extremely rude, while you have your own opinion and that’s ok I would like you to think how the gymnast would feel seeing this after training so many years. As a gymnast myself it’s hard not to compare myself to others and then to be in a sport where it’s all about judging, these comments can be extremely hurtful and while I cannot tell you to not comment this I ask you to think before you do in order to maybe spare the feelings of this gymnast who could come across this, and after all most of them are children Suni is like 17
