I grew up in a Barelvi family and I used to proudly call myself Brelvi. I remember going to Milad jaloos and decorating my house in the month of Rabi ul Awal. This sect used to be so peaceful I used to argue with sects of other people bcz with they violent. But now, after growing up, completing my studies when I see this sect burning our country, I feel utterly disappointed. Bcz of this extremist environment, I can't even talk about this issue bcz of fear of blasphemy. I feel a minority in my own country now. These extremist groups have confused me so much that now I have some serious doubts about my own religion.
If govt don't provide you protection then what you expect from Sunni's. Second if govt don't fulfill it's agreement then what you think TLP would have done. Sunnis are always peaceful and examples are funerals of "nashtar park" bomb blast and mumtaz Qadri funeral and Allama khadim Hussain rizvi funeral. If Sunnis were extremist then after these funerals no enemy would have left alive.

Resistance Movement is not extremism. Merely following a Sect is not extremism. ST was a resistence movement against a definite objective of forceful occupation of Sunni Sufi Masajids across Pakistan. Your explanation lacks the aspect where our government mishandled TLP protest with miscommittment and excessive use of force with brutal treatment by Punjab police resulting hatred, anger and violence. We do have precedence where a political mishandling by using excessive forces to disperse massive protests eventually become violent even in developed nations like USA black people riots or UK riots etc.

Interesting, didn’t know this, but still think it’s early days to out right label a whole sect. There is good and bad in all, It’s Pakistan’s majority sect. A lot of people who associate themselves with them have never done nor condone the violence/vandalism being pinned on the sect because of few bad apples or torsion horses. What kind of Islam people are following in Pakistan? In the name of our beloved Prophet (PBUH), we are causing so much chaos among ourselves. These illiterate people are making Islam look so bad because of their bad behavior, selfishness, ego and ignorance. People seriously need to educate themselves when it comes to an understanding of holy Quran and the sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Islam is so simple but these uneducated people made it so complicated by dividing themselves into groups which were never mentioned in the Quran. We all are Muslim who pray to the same God and read the same Quran. Our Prophet was so forgiving and merciful to the whole of humanity and here we are fighting against each other just because of comparison with others who follow Islam differently. All we need to do is follow 5 pillars of Islam, Hadiths, and the sunnah of our Prophet. Quran has all the answers to our questions but people always misunderstood by having a lack of knowledge. Crux of the whole video when ever state failed to prevail justice to its citizens continuously then even the most peaceful sect (brailvi who always referred to sufism ) also get violent for their rights and obviously when a moment starts incidents happen, failure of the state is not that state didn't tackle them well actuall failure of the state is justice is not given to them and all others on intial stage. Only that society flourished where justice is given as early as possible thats the key to success in any field.
He painted the movement as rise of blind extremism in quest of identity, power and violence but he forget to mention the important factor.
