It is really ironic. I am from Stuttgart, born & raised, all that stuff and you show me places and give a tour of Stuttgart, the way I've never seen it. I love expats, travelers, exchange students etc. in Germany vlogs. You provide a whole new perspective just by exploring the town I have lived in almost all my life but yet have never truly known. I think it's just, that since I've lived in this place almost all my life, I became weary and unappreciative of it and lost my eye for the beauty it has yet to offer. Seeing Stuttgart through the eyes of a traveler is like seeing it myself for the first time again and remembering what I've once loved about it. Thank you for remembering me, Conner Sullivan.
The one guy playing chess on the street is actually a homeless guy who lost pretty much everything he had due to alcohol. He told me that becomming homeless has woken him up and he has not touched a drop of alcohol since. Also he does not want to get off the streets anymore because he sais this is where his life has lead him and he is okay with it. All he wants is for people to play chess with him and talk to him a little bit. Also two other Döner places you have to try are: 1. Alatrurka (Olgastrasse) - they say its the best Döner in Stuttgart. Go there pretty early because they usually are sold out by early afternoon. Also be prepared to wait in line for a bit (yes its that good) 2. Beykebab at Rötebühlplatz - They have the biggest Kebab (meaning the rotating meat thingy) I have ever seen. When they put on a new one its about a yard in diameter - maybe even more. Plus it tastes really good aswell! Keep enjoying Stuttgart, love to see you having fun here.
Not really , ist just untypical :D JUst wait when its really hot there will be plenty of grandpas running around , embrassing their dream body :D so dont worry
Dasbobobo eventough there might be old people doing the same, it is still inapporiate. Being topless in public can even be punished with a ticket for 'Erregung öffentlichen Ergernisses'
Just a little fun fact since you said Beer might sometimes be cheaper then water. In Germany we got the "Apple-Juice-Paragraph" that states that the cheapest beverage has to be a non-alcoholic. But the price is per litre, so the cheapest prduct might as well be a beer when the water/whatever comes in bigger bottles. In Austria exists a similar rule, however it's 2 products that gotta be cheapest.
Usually people just simply don't walk around without a shirt in Germany even when they have a good-looking body. And German people like to stare. So you have those two things combined.
On sunny sundays we often go for a walk in the Swabian highlands - called "Schwäbische Alb". I would suggest visiting the castle "Hohenzollern" to you. It's a magical place and worth a visit!
not sure how i ended up here, but one of your videos showed up and now im watching them all xD nice to see how exitied you are by everything, please upload more videos of all the stuff you are doing in germany, ill watch them..subscribed :D hope you have a great time. also like the funny editing of the videos makes it even more fun :D enjoy your time :D
What I did in Berlin on sunny days: 16€ cruises on the Spree, and or sitting on the green banks of the river with a bittburger and used to watch the lil ships go by : ) / Hannover parks / or enjoy the Göttingen and Rosdorf tranquility : ))
You should go to VfB - Dynamo Dresden this Sunday. Your chance to see the best Ultras of Germany live in Stuttgart. Next season Dynamo will stay 2nd division and Stuttgart go first Bundesliga
We in Germany just sit down with a beach-towel at a nice place and if you are rather alone, you can just smoke some weed and chill and then grab some food somewhere :D I Love all your Vlogs keep it goin man ;D
my friends and I like to grab some coffee and chill in the park where the ducks and the opera are! oh and the shopping street in stuttgart is called "königstrasse"
If you want to have a good view over Stuttgart, you should check out the Bismarckturm, Karlshöhe and Birkenkopf (Monte Scherbelino), cool places to hang out with friends and drinks :)
Something you can do with friends is make a BBQ somewhere out in the countryside. There are lots of places, especially in and near forrests where you can light a fire and grill some food, hang out and chill. If you're not sure where to find one just ask some locals.
Hey Conner, no idea if u read this but Max-Eyth-See may be a nice place for u to check out. It's a lake where you can chill, go for a swim but also rent little boats. I really like it there thought you might want to check it out !!
at 2.41: it's funny to see you guys walking around there, I mean I've known this city for a long long time haha, the house of one of my friends is actually right on the other side
Hey Conner, next time following conditions apply: sun is out/it´s a mellow night, you´re near Schlossplatz, you´re thirsty, you want to socialize while shirts are scarce, find the "Palast der Republik". It has an interesting history, so explore! But I bet you´ll end up there sooner or later without this hint anyways:´! ;-)
Check the ebay version called ebay Kleinanzeigen. It's basically like the little private advert things in newspapers, but online - and people tend to sell things like scooters on there. Buying from a private person means no guarantees - but way lower prices.
Or have a look in local newspapers, there are also some ads. Had once a scooter but sold it. You also could look at mobile.de or autoscout24.de, websites where u can buy almost everything with an engine ;)
Hi, Conner RU-vidstar! :-)))) I have in my shed a really strong running Scooter. Think its around 70km/h. Only Problem: Carburator freshly cleaned but has to be ensambled again and (reason why carburator was cleaned) you have to remove some rust out of the gastank. Runnslike hell I promise. Verv very low milage but not very cool looking. I would have painted it in white...... go on with your filming, its fun! By the way, Im from near Karlsruhe 1 hour from Stuttgart.
Hey Connor, you ever tried to clip something like Wacken Open Air ore Rockharz ore Rock im Park or Rock am Ring.... or something like Heavy Metal Festivals in Germany? Think about it....
Ahhh damn moved from Stuttgart away last year, would be awesome if I had the oportunnity to meet you. Anyway enjoy your time, nice editing and vibes you got here ! :-)
when the weather is nice and it's hot you have to come to the German "ostsee" to my hometown Grömitz! We swim in the ostsee and jump into it from our brigde that goes into the see! :-) we also eat a lot of ice cream and Döner and we love to meet tourists from all around the world. love your videos, see you soon!:) P.S.: we have the best Döner, it's worth it to visit us. :D
Love your videos and the way you edit your vids :D greetings from Hamburg!! (North-Germany) I also enjoy your "old" and new american football videos :) Girls support your videos too! Just want to write it bc i can see barely any girls here in the comments
I mean he can, it's not against any law it's just really really weird in the middle of a big city or just any city in germany XD The tattoos are kinda saving him because those are really cool
