Great talk! I wasn't so sure about this one but am excited to pick it up!

Thank you so much for this talk! I just finished the book today & needed to help organize & critique some of my thinking. Y’all had some thought provoking discussion. I didn’t realize it until you mentioned some characters, but I don’t know if any characters aside from Aida were named, including domestic pets. I am looking for some analysis around ciphers in the book, prompted by the observation of a cipher eventually having no meaning. Maybe I missed it, but I think that it’s very yt to not discuss the implications of race in this book. Regardless, I definitely will be listening to more of your discussions. You offer a lot to consider
