I've been a tad addicted to Suno the past week. I've been feeding it my custom lyrics. I realize fairly quickly the thing with lyrical structured prompts, but was looking for more prompts to fine tune the song to the way I want it, beyond the "chorus," "verse", "bridge" aspects. The musical styles prompt is fun to play with and the use of the word "experimental" has provided me with some fascinating results. At this point, the thing I would like most is for whenever I get a style/melody/vocals render I approve of using it could be edited and re-rendered in that exact style, etc. For instance, I mush too often make a typo and don't see it before rendering a song. The song Suno pops out might be perfect for me other than my own flub, but I apparently cannot correct the flub and still keep that version of the music and vocals. I also sometimes write lyrics on the fly, so to speak, in the program, and often I fine tune the words after hearing the results after rendering. There again, I often would still like to retain the version it gave me, but with the corrections I made. If this is not just something I am overlooking, maybe one day that feature can be added?
I completely agree. We need to be able to make small adjustments without completely regenerating something we already like. I think it’s one of the biggest issues with the current version.
Good information, thank you. Such a fun thing to mess around with, really gives better idea on how important lyrical structure can be to fit within a song
So glad you enjoyed it! I did another episode here walking through the entire process of creating a song live with all the problems and solutions I ran into. A.I. music on Suno. Episode 01: Man vs Bear ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TvamkhqBA4U.html
Useful tips there. I have added to the little I know about Suno. Thank you. I never studied music but want to make money by making and distributing AI musing on all streaming platforms. Is this possible with Suno?
If you are paying for the service then according to them, you own the copyright and can distribute the music. You will have to look at using one of the distribution services like CD Baby to get the music on different platforms, but it is possible! You can also have the song playable on Suno but I don’t think they are paying people to stream on their platform.
Thank you! People seem interested. I may split these off into a second channel and will likely do some videos on the other A.I. music software as well. :)
Great video. Have you found any ways to prescribe meter within verses? A consistent stumbling block for me is the AI going off on a tangent rhythmically and not following what I want to be the timing of the verse/chorus/etc
Thank you! The meter is really tricky. I found that I had to sometimes change the wording slightly to get it to work - but it's one of the problems I most run into. It would be nice if there was a way to denote how to break up each word/ phrase. I did a video running through the entire process of creating a song where you can see where it works and where it does NOT.
Wow. This is really awesome. I have been playing around with Suno AI, still haven’t gone to subscription yet. Just an ideas, have you tried using old Scottish Sailor, or Irish folk with the fat guy in a little boat? I did a funny song using something similar…
I uploaded the app after hearing some amazing songs and appreciate your tutorial! Before I try the free version, can you let me know if I can listen to multiple versions of a song before saving? It says it gives 10 coins? Note I'm just doing this for fun, but love things that ignite creativity and love your catchy fat guy in a boat song!
it uses the coins as you create songs, so what they give you will only go a little ways. I'm not sure if it renews the number of coins each day, or monthly or not at all. There seems to be less and less free options in A.I. these days. it's a little more fun to play around with when you know you wont be limited. Have fun making some music!!
@@mspears_bobobuddytheseniorcat glad to help! I've decided to start doing more videos on A.I. Music. I've been having fun with it and decided to share what I've found. Check out the new videos!!! (Matt Dean's A.I. Song Wheel of Destiny!)
I had problems with it doing intros as well. I did a video creating a song from scratch and ran through that exact problem. Perhaps try [instrumental open] as a prompt??
[Intro] doesn't work for me. Also, the biggest mystery is if it is possible and how (probably not) to amend the lyrics of a song you've generated. Whilst you can extend on it (i.e. add further verses), you can't just amend a couple of lines and re-generate an existing song with exactly the same voice/music/rhythm. That's something Suno has to work on. Extending from inside a generated song also results in slight variations and the results are not quite the same as the originally generated song. At least in the Russian language I've played with.
Agreed. It has a lot of problems. There doesn’t seem to be a way to tell it that you like certain aspects of a song and tell it not to change those while fixing other parts. It’s very much an “All or nothing” approach to making a song.
I've been trying to make 90s eurobeat dance songs for fun and most of those songs have female vocals with a male rap in one of the later verses... i haven't figured out a way to do this and seems like something that should be pretty simple. i try, like, [male rap verse 2] and it never seems to do anything no matter what i try.
@@OODZUTSU it’s still very problematic when it comes to specifics. It’s seems to like style of song first followed by and details. I did an episode of building a song from beginning to end if you’re interested… A.I. music on Suno. Episode 01: Man vs Bear ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TvamkhqBA4U.html
