Guy Pearce is one of the best actors in the world, he deserves better…. Even here you can see him shine with his chameleon abilities. Doesn’t even look or sound like him. It’s such a shame he’s so overlooked.
When I was young I've always asked myself .. "hey, this actor is so great. What happened to him. Why haven't he star in more movies or even been nominated?" Now that I'm older, I know exactly how things work in Hollywood. It's a Cult. It doesn't matter if you are the best actor for a role.. if you don't align yourself with the cult or agree to have the same beliefs and politics as the cult, you will be blacklisted.

@@semyaza0999 I like him better than both personally, but I have a bias because Pearce stars in many of my all time favorite films (L.A Confidential, Memento, Count of Monte Cristo, The Proposition, Animal Kingdom, Brimstone) for not getting the recognition, he’s been in a lot of great films. It’s just a shame he’s been on a losing streak since his divorce.

I wouldn't say he is necessarily better than either actor but I think he has more roles in movies that I like than Daniel Day Lewis. I love the Count of Monte Cristo, Passion in the desert, and Ravenous. Not many people know about the last two movies I stated. He has alot more hits that I like but those are my favorites.

Queen of the Desert, L.A Confidential, Memento, Count of Monte Cristo, The Proposition, The Hurt Locker, Kings Speech, Animal Kingdom, Mildred Pierce, Lawless, The Rover, Brimstone, etc. He’s also done some pretty big blockbuster roles like Time Machine, Iron Man 3, Prometheus, etc, but I don’t care for that crap. It’s only since he got divorced that he’s been resorting to all this straight to Redbox shit. I’m hoping he’ll bounce back soon.

This movie is laden with such bad actors, I don’t think they’d make on LMN. If they had actually put some effort into it, it really could have been great but man they messed this up so badly. So they show you an American flag in one scene, but it’s super obvious that the homes alone were not American made homes, but something from Ireland or Britain. Its ridiculous how badly they they did this. Every scene is set in fog, so you can’t find one clear scene, it’s absurd! I cannot believe this is what major movie companies have reduced themselves to and call it movies. What a joke! I’ll stick with late 90’s through mid 2000’s movies to rewatch until Hollywood can get back to actually making decent movies without agendas. . It’s unbelievably underwhelming
