This lady Ash Sula is beautiful in SPIRIT and her appearance is lovely. The fact that she endures cancer is very positive and she has her own business is Amazing. She is sharing her talents with others and l think ,She is truly a gift in life.😇 Her attitude is not giving up and finding the good and creative part of her Life.😇 This video was truly a beautiful learning experience for me,Thank you.Cheryl in Ne.
Africa and Asia have always had natural "secrets" to gorgeous and healthy skin and hair. That's why they all look so young even in their 70s. You can tell by her skin that she takes care of herself in a more natural way than women in other countries do. No chemicals. She has a natural glow and if her hair wasn't in the dreads, it would probably be a lot harder for her to handle. She's just beautiful.
Not only beautiful hair but a beautiful lady! I have been on chemo as well twice . Once for a 13 months and lost my long hair but it did grow back fast but thin and gray as well.. Just got off chemo after 5 years did not lose all my hair but was very thin. It is again long but not as long as hers..the good lord helps us grow our hair...love this lady!!
Blessings to you Golden1, they fall right at the center of my back, between my shoulder blades. They are not all the same length or size & that's what I love about them.
YES MANDELA NEVER LET ANYONE TOUCH YOUR HAIR, YOUR SPIRIT CONTROL YOUR MIND. PEOPLE WHO IS ENVIOUS AND TOUCH YOUR HAIR, WILL MAKE IT FALL OFF.... I WORK WITH MY SPIRIT AND MIND. WHEN MY SPIRIT AND MIND SAY GO AND GET THIS DONE I MOVE . . ... SPIRIT AND MIND IS THE BEST THING SOME OF US AFRICANS HAVE. AM ONE OF THEM. MY SPIRIT ALWAYS DIRECTS ME IN THE RIGHT PATH AND I FOLLOW, AM A VERY STUBORN BLACK AFRICAN WOMAN TOO.. I LIKE TO FOLLOW MY SPIRIT. . THAT IS MY GIFT MY SPIRIT AND MIND WORK BEST FOR ME.
Yvonne, I think you're in "The Oprah Winfrey" league. So professional and extremely justly sensitive, and polite, well-spoken. You have all the makings of being a GREAT success (already). So proud of your trait as a black woman in that 'sort of'' profession. You've either got it or you haven't. Well, girl ( excuse the small talk) you've GOT "IT". SO GO TO "THAT PLACE and LEVEL" you may have thought you couldn't go. SO, SO LOVED your interview. Thanks for everything, the format, person of choice to interview (interesting and important theme). GREAT QUESTIONS, etc.
Wow! I am so glad I saw this. I could never have long hair with my neck problems. I have enough trouble holding the weight of my head up as it is sometimes, but kudos to you beautiful lady.
Our higher power can do anything!! Many are called but few are chosen….. . So for the Nay sayers or skeptics Here's PROOF an the example of anything is possible. The BEST ingredient for anything to GROW is LOVE and being as POSITIVE individual in this life time.. Mrs Asha has a beautiful personality, VIBE and Love herself!! Cmon ppl ,, thats all u need
This is a good video. Has anyone actually watched the whole video . Some of these comments are ignorant. Just watch the video they will answer these dumb questions.
she's beautiful inside but not outside. its doesn't matter if she have brown skin lmfao! a lot people are more educated than her. she's normal. nothing new or nothing special!
I'm not black so I don't understand black women's hair- My question is- the "roping" she's talking about - is that basically twisting her natural hair? I think it's amazing!!!!! And I wish all black women just let their hair grow out naturally looks fucking gorgeous!
"I wish all black women just let their hair grow out naturally looks f****** gorgeous!" They would if it was as easily manageable as it is when they get it relaxed (permed).
Such beautiful person, inside and out. She has a calming spirit about her and that is given from God. To me she is more then a Black woman with long hair, She is a Goddess. 😚💕
+Golden1 kk means ...okay as in someone agrees with what you said ....lol.. that person must be young because I learned that from my kids lol young folks slang ♡♡♡
Wow ! very beautiful. I don't blame her for screening people when it comes to touching her hair. some people intentions are very I'll willed. Blessings to you and your baby !
I LOVE WORKING WITH MY MIND AND SPIRIT. THANK GOD FOR SUCH GIFT HE GAVE ME. I WENT FOR A READING A FEW YEARS AGO, AND THE MAN TOLD ME WHEN HE FINISH READ ME, THAT I WAS READING HIM WHILE HE WAS READING ME. HE SAID MY SPIRIT IS VERY STRONG AND TOLD HIM I KNOW. I PROVE MY SPIRIT AND MIND ALL THE TIME ....
I hate when people try to say women of color cannot grow long hair. I've been growing my locs for 13 years, and I'm not ever cutting them. FYI: fake(faux) locs are very shiny and synthetic looking. Real locs/dreads look completely different. Hers are real, you can see them growing from the scalp.
moni7ful Don't you think that would have been found out. Sometimes just give credit where its due. Jealous and envy is very un healthy destroys the soul.
I randomly found this show nd i got ciriouse to watched it , and i swear never thought how much i would enjoyed it with such nice women full of beauty and much grace ^_^
Wow! Beauty is personal!!! I admire her and totally relate to wanting to leave your hair alone😊. I am on that journey without locking my hair. Best wishes to everyone!!!
Ok about the reporter responses to me it looks like really shes being nice and doing gestures that in their culture considered nice and polite, its just cultural thing she actually listen to everything her guest say and confirming that to guest by saying ok
My step daughter, when young, had "short hair". Well we took a strand and gently straightened it out. What looked like hair of maybe 1.5 inches was actually at least 12-16 inches long. I now know that her hair was tremendously dehydrated. These many years later, she keeps her hair in wonderul shape, healthy and hydrated.
Phenomenal You afro women in the diaspora and west africans have longer hair than most native east or southern africans eg the khoisan have very little hair and it just doesnt grow the same can be said for southern sudanese and other africans.....
Some of the comments on here are the most ignorant comments I have read yet. But I shouldn't be surprised. It is her hair not fake. Most of the people I know with locks have very long hair. When Black People allow their hair to just be without all the pulling and tugging and chemicals (perms/relaxers) it grows that is why so many women are turning to locks. I personally don't plan on locks but natural I am transitioning now.
Love her keeps doing what you do I'm a black women my hair is in the middle of my back and yes I do relax it I have very course hair and I am refred to as tender headed so I relax to manage but it still grows with no problem but I love your hair and I'm glad that you show black women we can grow hair you just have to be healthy inside as well as the tropical products we apply directly to the hair once I learned how to moisturize the rest was history peace and love always my sister
That's that woman's hair, not extensions. BTW, a lot of European folks get their hair bonded and weaved and their culture invented wigs, hence the powdered white wigs worn in history. Afro hair grows very long.
this lady is so amazing looking good in that very long hair she is very strong and beautiful. she is kenyan by marriage and i say she is surely the world record holder of the longest hair not just the dreadlocks cos her hair is so longer than the indian lady with 7ft long hair while yours is 3 times hers cos this african hair a.k.a her baby is 21ft long. bless you ma'am for the inspiration and assurance that its possible to grow african hair without perms and chemicals. and for the host she sure is so amazing cute pretty interesting and professional. i love this show. i wish we can have it on cable so nigerians can watch more of this show.
I want to clarify that in America black women do have naturally long hair some long and thick some long and fine and it doesn't matter the hair type. This obsession with extensions and quick length started with hip hop artists and their videos. Even those who had good hair lenghth wanted"that look"! Growing up, most black girl's had good length but relaxers, perms and coloring does damage hair, but that's for anyone. Don't assume all black women want long flowing hair, I'm not one of them and there are many who prefer shorter length.
GOD/GOOD Job on every level except how to access the products she uses. Her "business", her own made products and exclusive formula hair products were not mentioned. This information in addition to seeing her hair was very important to me. We must remember, Do Not forget, Business and Beauty go together!
i hate seeing theses comments saying no need for weaves! i agree but then theres, weave makes your hair fall out . NOT TRUE. if you dont have african american hair or dont work with it i dont think you should talk about how "easy" it is
Those of you who think this is fake hair obviously know nothing about dreaded hair. Look at the Marley's if you want a popular example. I live in the Caribbean and rastas and other folk with locked hair have hair at their ankles and sht, sometimes carelessly dragging behind them or stuffed in their pockets. It's not impossible or uncommon in the Caribs (of course, this woman's hair far surpasses any length I've seen - that must be heavy as hell).
I only hated that she said that she not the longest hair in the world...First we know that if she take her looks down it will double the length...so yes she has the longest hair locks or not.
no if she takes hair down it would not stay that long....her hair is that long because she does not comb it.once she starts combing it it will slowly break off naturally*****
