The Tom Lamb (He’s a farmer) Hat and Hoodie delivery service is top notch, not quite as quick as Amazon, but not far off!!! Plus the contents of the package is way more exciting!!😊
Sorry to laugh but yeah, lift drill before backing up Tom. Had a big sign on front of my old horsch drill hopper coz had afew staff back up with it in work mode. Me and my after school boy where only 1s not to block it 😂😂😂 cheers & beer's from Methven, New Zealand guy's 👍🏻👍🏻🚜🔧🇳🇿
Cracking videos and Stocking fillers purchased beanie's cap and hoodie. Also please send out a notice for the working festival for next year as i think it would be an awesome drive out and great to see some old machinery in action.
Had frost 2 weeks ago in NE Derbyshire and the nights are drawing in dark before 7pm. Colin’s bunker is awesome nearly as good as your inspection pit Carry on farming Tom
Nicely done apart from having your eyes closed when you block it all up 😆. Tell Emily my huddy is a XXL 😂 and a hat to go with it please 😊 ❤ Keep up the good footage Tom 👍
Tom, a lot of farms are now calling in Agri Contractors to do certain tasks as you can as a farmer get on with something else and you don't have the expence of maintaince and servicing cost or the need to upgrade of kit so to speak. In order to turn a profit and to compete some land owners are going this way. The big farm up where I sometimes work over in Swanley in Kent seems to be doing this more and more. The truck side seems to be safe for the time being....
Hi tom when my job person came to school 40 odd yrs ago asking me what do you want to do when you leave school I said I want to be a farmer he said we don't have jobs like that ? But in my later yrs I had a boat on a farm near me and helped out on the farm best few years of my life till the farmer and is wife died and they were great people but I love how you explain how farming equipment work cheers tom
Another class video Tom! Also your missus videos are brilliant too what a team 💯 👍 Was watching mr hewes video last week and your design of the bale blaster is basically the exact same as a centurion tank exhaust tip lol 😂
The thing I get that the powers that be dont is farmers are not your average guys. You dont just wake up one morning and say “Today I am a farmer”. Your comment about the soil going crusty due to rain is not something your average allotment grower would understand. The ability to fix mechanical problems at the drop of a hat. Working sun up to sun rise, understanding the importance of nature to the production cycle. These things are bread into farmers, not picked up with a college degree. You really are a farming ambassador of the highest order. Watch out Clarkson you have competition right here on RU-vid. ❤
Winter is coming 🥶 good to have some dry weather before the drilling is done ✔️ does get depressing about the prices of kit and low return Tom! Maybe you need to invent teleportation to save postal costs abroad 😂 seems a right scam with customs costs. I’ve had delivery lies like that too 🤬would be great to train those seagulls for weeding duty so they can pay back All You Can Eat on your cultivation 😝
You really have to take advantage of every hour of the nice days to not get behind, oopsies notwithstanding. Hope you picked up a sandwich when you were at the pit to keep up your strength. Thanks for another interesting video.
Was that a " Farming Theory " RU-vid ? He was still saving on getting a Contractor to make his silage for him. But he enjoys using machinery to make his silage. 😊
Tom I bought my New Holland T6 180 from Europe paid less than what I could buy it here in the states. I also just bought a hydraulic top link cat 3 for the tractor directly from the manufacturer in Europe plus shipping way cheaper than I could buy the same cylinder from the same manufacturer here in the states....go figure.
Tom, my partner & I absolutely love your content. Been following you from the start near enough. It's crazy that you are nearly at 50k subscribers. Tom, how can we speak to you directly plz buddy?
Do you think the industry is doing it on purpose to cost out individual farmers like you? Are they increasing costs for more profit on their end? What automated systems are being designed and implemented and do you worry that they will replace local farmers with corporate? Are the conglomerates trying to make it so you are just going to be service workers and they own the equipment? Oops, sorry i just had coffee and your cost analysis just sparked these questions.
