Wow. This is such a straightforward tutorial. Thank you for posting this....now I've got to go recalibrate my sunroof and check my sunroof drains really quick!
Thanks So Much 😬🤩, my 06 Range Rover supercharged sunroof never closed correctly but now it does thanks to you 🍾🎉. I always had to go through a lot to close it securely. Not any more 😁
Can I buy you fine gentlemen a coffee? It might get cold on the way over from Canada - but my goodness this has save me. Water leaking from the sunroof down the a pillar into the driver footwell left hand drive and was getting intermittently working windows, or sometimes they had a mind of their own!! Now I can see I need a seal. Had 3 garages turn away the sunroof and this was an incredible start. 👍
Just a note of the rear holes - they are PITA to try and clean from the sunroof cassette. In the end it was easier to drop the liner - disconnect the hose from the cassette and give a good blast (8 bar) of compressed air. Worthwhile to drop the side valence before hand to prevent the debris amassing and assisting the rusting process
Ty soo much, this worked perfectly, the dealership told me with the range rovers u got to keep pushing it to have it close, bunch of crap smack, but thanks
Helpful video! Thought you could vent the sunroof but didn’t know how. Not sure if you have already done a video of this but if you haven’t could you do a video of changing the drier beads in the air compressor. Thanks keep posting L322/L320 videos
Hi there,i love your channel, very informative content for someone with a land rover etc. i have watched the video above about leaking sunroof, but cannot find anything on youtube about my problem i have black mould on the rear roof lining and rear pillar, drivers side. i have checked the rear wash wipe as i thought the pipe might have come off the wash wipe and was running down inside the roof lining, but the wash wipe seems to be working ok. i have ordered a trim removal set to take off the rear pillar to investigate, i dont fancy taking down the roof lining just in case i cant fit it back properly, i have not tried the sunroof drain holes yet, as i dont have any water in the footwells at the front or damp carpets. i wait for your reply, thanks kevin
Interesting .. what a RR design abortion to block grommet with air tank. I used to get a gurgling noise at speed when sunroof drain was blocked ... I used to use a pipe-cleaner on a length of PYRO cable to unblock ...
Well did the procedure and roof looks flush know, but like on the Video the one touch close don't work any more how did you fix that problem on your car?
Hi, water leak in front and rear. I think the water damage my amp. I have no sound. I took it to the shop and was priced a $1000.00. Is there an easier fix than taking down the headliner. Thanks
The likely suspects are sunroof rear drain blocked and also roof rail holes not sealed properly. Make sure you check water is not getting on the electrical stuff either side of your rear luggage space - check these as they are a big problem if they are getting wet !
powerfulukltd Thanks! There was a big round hole under the rear spoiler- on the left side as you face the back- could that be it? I plugged & sealed it. There was also signs of water in the middle piece of trim that you remove when taking the rear spoiler off. Is that a Hampshire accent?
@@Defender-Guy Look at my video for the rear brake light - there should be a rubber grommet in the hole ? Yes part hampshire --- bit of a nomad me.... Bristol > Manchester > Southampton > London > Cardiff > Thailand > Swindon ... so a bit mixed up.
powerfulukltd There are 2 holes on the right side, one for the 3rd brake light, the other for the camera. Both of these holes have rubber grommets. The other hole was on the left side. It had no grommet but does now. I’m hoping that when I do the ‘hose test’, nothing makes its way inside. I’ve lived in Hampshire several times- but am a nomad too, been livi ng in Eastern Oregon since 1994, next stop is St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands!
Hi there, @UCjCbH52t-y0TPd6Y4CElvFw. Ive got a problem. Please could you help me and tell me to, which wire should I connect my 12v wire from LED rings in front lights connector (plug)? I bought rings and there goes 12v wire from left or right lamp and I need to connect this somewhere, probably to position lamp wire? On normal lights theres tension in yellow-grey, yellow-blue and yellow-red wires in front lights plug. In position lights on there is tension in yellow grey and yellow-red. Could you help me please.. :)
powerfulukltd well said ;) in other terms I love these vehicles but in regards to all the problems they seem to have for the price you pay it seems like constant headaches, especially with the water issues . But it won’t stop me from enjoying them . Great video
