As a glider pilot with an "experimental" class glider - I'd like to stick solar panels to my glider. I do have a question to ask: how do you handle the wings flexing with solar panels embedded?
Your tune-up first flight of the season was, if I’m not mistaken, longer than the longest flight ever of that other two-seat solar plane in a country to your north. Showoff! 😂
Hi, can I get some info about power in kW from that electric engine on maximal power, info about battery (voltage, technology and capacity, how long you are able to stay in the air on that battery without thermic and so on? Thank you.
весьма спорная компоновка . Разнос масс на хвостовое оперение в классической схеме я не понимаю от слова совсем . Геометрия крыла , ГО ВО тоже вызывают недоумение . Размеры элеронов , закрылков тоже не понимаю . Это студенты проектировали ?
Registered as a glider, and it should be. Glider licence required to fly it. Also, gliders do not need to carry the 30 minute reserve of power that normal power planes do.
@@Solar-flight what are the performance stats on it? Any chance that you were offering disability options like many gliders? The video has a lot of creaking is that due to the high wing mounting? I assume it is not approved for even simple aerobatics (doesnt look like it has very high g limits beyond normal soaring) VERY INTERESTED in owning one
@@Solar-flight I am wondering... what could be better? This bird seems to be pretty perfect already. I certainly wish for you that you will have chance to build an even better "dream". What would be nice too, is to make the blueprints "free for humanity".
