Brandon, I switched to the westscotts did not feel like I needed to do all the steps. But that's just me. I use it for all types of photography also. The one thing I did notice that helps me is the recycling of the westScott so much faster at all levels. Keep it up buddy great vid.
@@BrandonColePhotography it's all good brother did an awesome job. I'm sure as you use it more you'll add to the video. Don't get me wrong the explorer system is battle tested. And what I love about that system is all the option they have to make magic with their system.
Great shoot.. I think you need too spend more time with the Westcott and the Sony adapter comes with the trigger. And the Freeze mode is incredible. Keep up the great content.✌🏾
I already had a godox Flash and trigger. So I went with the AD400 (especially being that it was only $400). The Westcott in addition to costing more, is bigger without any added power output. If I was starting from scratch I might have gone with the Westcott, but the Godox was just too good a deal. I like your work by the way. Good stuff. I'm curious what technique you use for skin retouching.
Another great Video!!!! As a Godox/Flashpoint shooter, I don't see any reason to switch systems. I have too many lights and with one trigger I can control all of them. to each their own. For equal performance I just can't find a reason to switch. Thank You for the Video. As always your expert opinion is Greatly appreciated. The Shoot was FIRE. Love that Preset or your editing style. Are you coming out with another Preset Pack??? Keep Us updated. Thanks again with another excellent tutorial Video.
THANKS FOR THIS DETAILED VIDEO REGARDING THE WESTCOTT STROBE. IT IS GOOD TO BE WELL INFORMED ABOUT PRODUCTS BEFORE YOU INVEST YOUR HARD EARNED MONRY. EXCELLENT 👍👍👍👍
Great video my man, I have both strobes, I noticed that, wescott produces cleaner images than godox, color on the wescott was accurate 👌. For my own preference, I really love wescott fj400 for my work, and definitely recommend for someone new getting into strobes.
Yea it has its perks with a faster recycle time and 50 dollars cheaper but really hard to make that push when about 70% of all flash photographers are already invested into the godox/flashpoint eco system
Nice review Brandon. A couple of this that whole Westcott system is just a rebranded Jenbei. At one point adorama had rebranded it too. I kept that trigger in my bad for about two years and it never accidentally turned on. The flashpoint called orlit would miss fire the color was not consistent. I had five of them that never work well enough. As a RU-vidr you can redo, as a pro it failed too many time to make it viable. Where I finally lost it was I was shooting a championship football game. It was about 32 degrees and it locked up with about 60 kids in front of me. I put it away used two canon flashes That weekend I jumped on the profoto system and never looked back. But seriously google jenbei lights. As for Sony jenbei give you the adapters for free Good luck
beautiful pics, beautiful composition, and great work overall just a little to much post editing on the skin for my taste as soon as i looked at the first pic i can tell he did alot of work on her skin.
LOL I have plenty of flashes. but until they come out with a more intuitive trigger maybe with a hotshoe mount with additional options, godox is still the way to go especially for what i do onlocation.
